Is oral bacterial imbalance the only cause with no known cure???

ResearchEverybody seems to say 'find the cause of your bad breath and then follow through with treatment' (e.g GERD or root canals) but ive never come across a solution in curing a bacterial imbalance which mainly congragates on the tonuge, Only cover ups seem to be the option! . Scraping still does not get rid of the smell completly and the bacteria just builds up again. I feel like theres no hope and id rather not be here if i know i have to deal with this my whole life.

Anyone like to enlighten me on some cures for a persistant bacterial imbalance, im desperate here, its so depressing as you all know ..

Listen.... you don't want to 'cure' the bacterial situation completely as you will always have the bad breath bacteria in your mouth, you need them... the key is controlling them.... this problem is so complex that there is no one cure... for example I just found in some research that everybody's mouths will have a genetic predisposition to allow certain bacteria to 'dock' in their mouths more than others.... think of is as a landing pad for the bacteria... if you don't have the landing pad for the types of bacteria that can help you that is really tough... I really think that the research into probitotics by that guy Speiser in Australia is worth pursuing further.... it is likely that the doses his products drop in your mouth of the favorable bacteria is not nearly enough to correct an imbalance or colonise your mouth, particularly if your mouth is not receptive to the positive bacteria... in any event... keep your hopes up.... i live with this problem too...

I wonder what Aydinmur has to say about my post here.... maybe I am out to lunch
