Hi i am new to this website, first of all my name is Brad and i am happy to find out that i am not the only one with this "disease" i call halitosis a disease because it ruins sufferers lives, slaughters confidence ,stamps all over self esteem.
Anyway i have suffered from chronic halitosis for around 10 years, my mouth is always dry, i have a very sour bad taste right at the back of my tongue,thick mucus, scared to open my mouth just in case someone smells it.
I have tried every toothpaste Crest,Aquafresh, Colgate,Retardex,Blanx,Rembrandt,Arm & Hammer and hundreds more.......mouthwash Dentyl PH, Biotene, Listerine, Corsodyl,Oraldene, Colgate, Retardex and hundreds more....
I have also tried tee tree oil,hydrogen peroxide, i have a electric toothbrush and brush for at least 5 minutes every morning and night, i clean my tongue with ora-brush every morning and night also...but my mouth is still dry as sand and the horrible taste remains (bad breath).
The only cause i have noticed it may be is my filling fell out some years ago and has left a black hole, it doesn't hurt and has never gave me toothache or another maybe cause is that i eat alot of cheese.
But i drink 2 litres of water everyday.
Any ideas of help would be grateful as i have literally tried everything.
