Bad Breath Diary February 2006

Jimi's Diary

3. FEBRUARY 2006

I am still drinking clove powder with water everyday also doing neti. It helps my sinuses. Yesterday I just felt like something died inside of me, I felt much better. Like some parasite died and I felt in my abdomen I have more energy and that something changed to better. After taking grinded cloves I am really come, I am not nervous anymore, feel more fresh. Also parasites might be the reason that nothing works, because they are stronger. We all tried things against bad breath and it helped for few days and after that back to previous state. So the parasites might be the real reason for that.

I am still experimenting with bad breath and I think I will find the solution. Like I read many times there is a flower on the earth for every illness that exists. It might be true. Today I really feel marvelous like really something died inside of me that was really bothering me for long time. My mind is really calm and I enjoy living. I still think the root of bad breath is in the liver or intestines not in the area at the back of our tongue. That is just the result and the result is in our internal organs.

I see so many people with the same problems as I have battling trying to find the solution. I am happy I am not alone and finally see the other suffer the same as I do. We will crack this bugger for sure like the Aussies says.

8. FEBRUARY 2006

I just talked yesterday with Dr. Yehuda Finkelstein. I saw articles all over the internet about his laser technique of curing tonsil crypts. All the major sites like CNN.com, Newyorktime.com, Losangelestimes.com, Boston.com have an article about his methods. So I was really honored that he was prepared to give the speech for our website.

He is a really positive man and I think his technique is the best. I am not sure because I haven’t gone thru the procedure, but it might work. I always knew the reason is in the throat even though my tonsils were removed long time ago before I had bad breath. Then he explained that part of tonsils usually remains after the operation and also the crypts. He also said he has a very high success with patients like 99%. Also we talked about other possible causes of bad breath like post basal drip PND, candida and he said the tonsils are the main reason, he said that candida is a fungus and it doesn’t produce gas, so that was really interesting point of view.

You will see the article on our site in few days also you will be able to download the recording of me with Dr. Yahuda. But please register and you will se the file .Also he is against all the bad breath clinic, because he is saying the tongue is not the reason but the real reason are the crypts in tonsils.

I too suffer with bb.
I feel like I am speaking at some AA session. Stop!!!!!!! I have been searching for help some 10 years to no avail. I must have had this problem since childhood, because I can remember mom saying get you some gum. I have tried it all! I have paid thousands of dollars for cures. There are so many quacks out there. My suggestion---do not trust on line cures.(body mints pills, Dr.Kratz, total body cleansing, herbs, holistic, fasting, raw diets, no sugar diet (lost lots of weight) Salvia Test -$250. Eye test irodologist ----NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING worked. I am so grateful for this diary. This a touchy subject. I feel that I can only talk to God. I do however have prayer friends that I pray with over this crisis. Thank God!
I had resolved to give up on several occassions. The Lord is my strengrth. I teach school. This problem is painful everyday. I can remember checking out of school once because of the foul smell. Sometimes it smell rotten. When I walk in the classroom the students cover their noses.
I was at a writing workshop once and the trainer suggested a great book for students to read - "Dog Breath- My Dog has Holitosis" I wanted to crawl under the table. I could since everyone's uncomfort for me.
I take this one day at a time and pray the "Serenity Prayer." Help me Lord accept the things I can not change.
Let's just all go live on an island together and be happy. All jokes aside :-)
I had a dream and I saw myself gargling salt water. I believe this was a vision from God. Sea salt has several benefits. I went on-line to check it out. If sea salt helps to neutralize the odor in the sea, then it will do the same for us.
One doctor believes that this is a PH alkaline problem. So do I.
Suggestion: Drink 2 tsp of fresh squeezed limes/lemons pluse 1/4 tsp sea salt with a 1/2 glass of water 2x daily Drink plenty of water.
Also try 1/4 tsp of lemon juice pluse 1/4 tsp baking soda pluse potassium citrate.
We may also possibly be lacking zinc, magnesium, and potassium citrate.
I believe that God is going to give us a cure.
Have faith!

hi Jimmi and everyone,

I have not finished reading all of your diary...and this is where I stopped...I'll read more later :)...I think the main problem with us who have bb because we are too focused on other reactions toward the way we smell so we subconsciously constantly trying to test our breath to confirm that we stink because we're so certain to ourselves that we stink. We test our breath by talking or speaking in a way where we blow air into other faces, and of course we bound to get a reaction, because people would wiggle their nose even when they don't smell anything, or because they itch coincidentally at the time we speak, or even when the air is not stink they wiggle anyway because it's foreign air is in their face (it's normal reflex). Unfortunately, the moment when someone reacts that way then we think that we have bad breath!!! I can't stand myself sometimes. So annoying and so hard on myself.

I have noticed that everyone has bad breath to a certain degree, granted that some do not (probably because at that moment they do not stink, we probably one of those at some point, too, but it's such a shame that we only focused on the bb moments or the moments when people wiggle/cover their noses). I know it's hard to relax when we're so psychologically sensitive to when people wiggle their noses, so we tried harder to confirm that we have bad breath by blowing even more air out when we speak.

The reason I don't smell bad breath on my best friend or everyone else around me most of the time because they only focused on what they want to say rather than their own breath, and by doing that they don't blow out any bad air from their mouth. I've learn that humans have the dirtiest mouth, even dirtier than any other animals (ie. dogs). Really, everyone has bad breath, but we are some of the few that realize we have bad breath and do something about it, but then we're too obsessed about getting fresh breath ALL the time. BB is not normal as we are made to live with bacteria. :-P.

Some people don't even realize that they have bad breath (an example probably be that guy that you talked to in the electronic store) and those are the ones that should be worrying. Jimmi, your teeth and gum are healthy, and you have great hygiene, therefore, you have no reasons to always be so conscious about your breath. I need to say this for myself too :-P. We need to quit worrying about it! There are more important things in life then to keep on dwelling on our breath. :)

I asked a dentist if I should use hydrogen peroxide for mouthwash and he told me hydrogen peroxide once in a while is okay but not all the time because it can cause cancer. Since we've suffered from bb for so long that we're very acceptance to others with bb. I am so obsessed with bb that all I ever think about whenever I have a conversation was to try to smell if they have bb too, and when I noticed that they do, I try not to react to it (like rub my nose) but then when she kept on talking, her bb goes away because she's not blowing air in my nose anymore, then I found myself wonder how someone can speak without blowing air in my face??

So, I came to a conclusion that's it all about where your focus is, if my mind is ABSOLUTELY careless about how I smell then others won't smell me (probably on rare occasions when I really don't want them to smell my breath but in reverse I am actually wanted them to smell my breath and see their reactions to confirm that I have bb). It's sick really :-P but I couldn't help doing it, because I am so annoyed and less acceptance to the reactions that I got from people because I am too sensitive, less forgiving, and perfectionist :-D, and because I am not easy to let go and disregard those reactions. I don't know if I make any sense. I hope I do.

I should accept that people are not as considered and sensitive as I am. If they smell something bad, then they immediately react to it, it's a normal reflex. I guess my frontal cortex is very well functioned that's why I don't immediately give-in into normal reflex by immediately react to bad smell but consider their feelings first (like you do with that guy in the electronic store, Jimmi :) I am very sure that if I get to talk to you face to face at the time you're relax, happy and careless about the way you smell, and you just focus on what you want to say to me, I would find myself wonder how can Jimmi talk without blowing air in my face? :)
Bad Breath & Halitosis Cures
Authored by: mitc on Wednesday, May 05 2010 @ 09:54 PM MDT
I had disgusting breath for years. I had no friends and even family keep me at a distance.
I was flossing brushing and rinsing everyday but still had bad breath. I spent thousands on all kinds of products claiming to stop bad breath but still had bad breath. I came across an eBook from badhalitosisbreath.com and it gave me my first insight into my problem. After I did all the advice in the eBook it identified Post Nasal Drip as the primary issue with eating and cleaning as the oral problem.
So I was happily surprised when my brother asked the following week why my breath didn’t smell any more, I told him what I’d done he’s like thank god for that book!
Now 6 months later I have my first girlfriend and worked up enough courage to tell her about what I was like just 1 year ago. She said I smelt better then any other boyfriend she’d had. Music to my ears!
