Good luck with the tonsil surgery. To check your sinuses it's important to get at least a CT, not a regular X-Ray, that could show absolutely nothing, although there are sinus problems. Even better is a CBCT of the sinuses, because it reveals even tooth related problems and has less radiation http:/...

So my ENT had a look into my throat and told me that my massive, onsided PND is probably related to reflux. I'm trying the third proton pump inhibitor now (1. Pantroprazole, 2. Omeprazole, 3. Lansoprazole), which didn't show any results yet (except the taste is slighlty different and more disgusting...

I noticed the same for me. It's not my breath, but the amount of mucus getting worse when I go outside (which then causes BB). The tissue produces more mucus breathing fresh air, that has a higher humidity etc. Especially when it's cold and rainy outside. Could that be an exlanation?

Interesting post, still let me add some information: An endoscopy will not necessarily reveal if you suffer from reflux-related BB. My ENT told me, that what I think is my PND is often confused with reflux-related mucus: clear, whitish, sticky, often perceived as a one sided drip. The mucus results ...

A Doc told me to leave away gluten, eggs & egg-related products and diary products simultanously for about 10-12 weeks to check if the BB has something to do with my diet. All 3 types of products can make trouble if you leave away one of them she told me. That would be a hard time, but worth a t...

Here's my update: My fasting trip didn't bring up any results, except that the mucus was a bit clearer, but still sticky, still my sinuses seem to be perfect and clean (the ENT just told me). Suprise, suprise after looking into my throat the same ENT told me, that I probably suffer from reflux and t...

Here are some insights, I found interesting and would like to share: Garlic is evil! This sounds familiar, but I don't mean the primary smell, but the effects on reflux. A specialist on reflux said in an interview that garlic is the worst substance to cause reflux, because its ethereal oils opens th...

I had all of this: CT scan and surgery of septum and sinuses. Surgery didn't accomplish anything yet, but it takes up to one year until you may recognize effects. The CT scan will show if your septum is deviated, this may result in less air flowing into your sinuses. Sinuses have to "breathe&qu...

So my theory is: The tonsilitis I had resulted in a hard lymph node next to my jaw. The fluids cannot flow an the sinuses try to detox the body instead, by producing PND. I have this vacuum pump for my tonsils (roeder device). Sometimes when I use it on my left tonsil, a lot of mucus is released fro...

Does anyone here have experience with post nasal drip and has recognized also swollen lymph nodes? I have one sided PND with clear mucus, and I had a tonsilitis on this side years ago. Since then I have a swollen lymph node. The "alternative" doc told me, it's clearly a matter of lymph flow.

There is a tool they call Roeder device, which is builds up a vacuum and sucks out the tonsil stones. Check my other posts for it. Or ask your ENT, he may also agree on picking them out. With the roeder thing you still have a gag reflex. I made a good experience with just relaxing the tung and let i...

Hi StayStrong, would i be right in suggesting that you sleep on your left side? That is not the case, I sleep on my tummy. I'm not quite sure, how I hold my head, whether to the right or left, but I think it changes through the night. And I have the mucus problem all day, not really excessively in t...
