In halimeter terms if you register <75 ppb VSC then no-one can smell it then above that it starts to become noticeable depending on the sensitivity of the person smelling it but once you get >125 ppb VSC then everyone can smell it. At what level of VSC it becomes offensive though and induces frantic...

..... I'll ramp up my consumption of pineapple for sure.... I can't be sure but I don't think I've smelt too bad today and I think for a lot of today I haven't smelt at all. I like days like this! I'm sure I'll suffer for this... have just been out drinking alcohol and I know from experience that th...

@sadman, thanks very much for such detailed guidance, I really appreciate it. Obviously I'm a bit nervous about trying it. Did I read somewhere that you work in the medical field? Can you elaborate on that? I think you also said that soon you are going to post a detailed story about your success wit...

@sadman, I totally want to try creon!! For anyone that's interested (and in case there's any doubt i have no financial interest in this website yada yada yada) I use this website to get prescription meds when I know that the doctor won't give me what I want. I was told by Fresh Breath Centre in Devonshire Rd, London that I didn't have bb. Since then a Dutch dentist in Amsterdam has been the only practitioner to have the 'courage' to tell me I did have halitosis and, strangely enough, I am indebted to her as I was thinking that I must be going mad. I kn...

Exactly, I reckon mine is. I fear it's creeping back up to being pretty horrendous all the time though the last few days, sigh, tired

I heard some say that they were walking into a room with 50 people and causing bad smell for everyone. That is not even possible. You have to be closer than that to someone for them to smell your bad breath. I know this from experience. Maybe the person next to you at most. Well the good news for y...

Ah, I feel for you! I thought I was cured almost exactly this time last month cuz I had about 4 days where I didn't smell at all or at least not too bad. I'm happy to say that I've smelt worse but the reality is I'm not much better than I was a few months ago.

Okay, kind of funny, brightonguy has done an interesting contribution: http://www.badbreathhalitosis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3214 I was thinking that we should use a wiki system to give our ideas, plan of action, etc etc. If "historical" members of the board read us, I'd really be inte...

I've suspected that avocado helps me, I might ramp up my consumption of that. Tried parsley for a while, either on its own or as part of salads. I know this might sound strange, but if anything I think that made my breath worse. I'm not sure how typical I am of BB sufferers (if there is such a thing...

Sorry guys I just don't but this line on saliva. My own personal experience (having suffered from a very dry mouth) and the literature on the subject simpy does not support the idea that saliva is that important for BB. To reiterate, on average, if you've got a very dry mouth (<1.5 ml in 15 mins) th...

I've lost two jobs because of this problem and have had several doctors tell me this is all in my head, even with a family member standing right there telling them that I have a severe bad breath problem and its made it hard for me to earn a living. Really? Wow! This is a really good example of how...
