Here's my guess as to why kelp is helpful for bad breath ( if bad breath is caused by tonsil stones)..it's high in iodine. Iodine decalcifies organs in the body. Tonsil stones calcify and harden and can be a great contributor to horrible breath.. Also kelp will work best if it is organic and fluorid...
