Yeah, I sometimes talk with my hand partly over my mouth or I try to talk without opening my mouth much (kind of mumble in other words).

I've always described my bad breath as kind of having a bitter/rubbery scent that can sometimes smell a little fecal. I've smelled a similar smell on someone else before; it's difficult to describe.

I had never heard this term before I came on this site; is this a trait of most halitosis cases or only some? How common is it? That's interesting; I hadn't thought about that. My bad smell seems to come only from my mouth, but I do notice a little bit even if I breathe out my nose, though.

^haha yep, "your mouth stinks bro" is something I've gotten before, along with "your breath smells like shit"; most of them are pretty generic comments, though. The worst was just seeing someone look grossed out when I was talking to them...
