Hi Malory, I've recently had appointments with an ENT and dentist which have almost completely convinced me that my bb problem is not related to my sinuses or teeth (98% certain!) This leaves my stomach problems to be investigated. I have a multitude of symptoms and have had for many years. I think ...

I agree. I took pepto-bismol for a week or so last christmas purely due to terrible indigestion after pigging out. My bb disappeared whilst I was taking it, but came back a week or so later (even though I was still taking the pepto). Plus, alot of people here have found that their bb disappears whil...

Hi Hali, I think my doctor will carry out this test if I ask her, it's just getting the courage up to ask her. I seem to have a pathological fear of doctors/dentists nowadays, mainly 'cos of the shoddy way I've been treated by many 'medical professions' when I've asked for help with my bb problem in...

Hey Hali, long time, no speak :) Hi Malory, Thanks for your reply. Does Dr Lachmann take urine samples without a referral from a GP. From what I understand from reading his website, he still needs a referral from a GP. I've considered paying for a urine test from online (you send the sample of to th...

Hey Malory, After 21 years of suffering from bb, and having many of the more obvious causes investigated, I'm beginning to think there's a possibility that I may be suffering from secondary TMAU. I've always rejected this in the past as I assumed (along with many others), that to suffer from this wo...

Hey Haligone, It sounds like we could be in a similar position, I've also got a dodgy wisdom tooth that I've suspected for years, but my dentist says the gum flap isn't deep enough to be the cause of my bb. It doesn't smell any more than the rest of my mouth when I rub it with my finger, but it tast...

Still seems like we're going in circles here... When I was around two or three years ago, the hot thing was Sunflower Oil... every morning I swashed that stuff in my mouth like a stooge.. "When the oil turns cloudy, you know it's pulling the toxins out" .. What a bunch of crap. Then sugar...

I'm considering trying Dr Ellie's 'system'. Has anybody else had good results from this? I'm currently brushing my tongue and teeth with xylitol, but this doesn't really do much. Is it worth forking out for all these mouthwashes? I thought I was past trying this sort of stuff to be honest, particula...

Hi Guys, Thanks for your replies :) Meow, had you had your palantine tonsils removed before your adenoids? What made you think your adenoids were the cause of your bb? How did you persuede your ENT to remove your adenoids? I think I may have narrowed down the cause of my bb to either problems with m...

Tonsil Stones, BB and Other Tonsils After Tonsillectomy

Like many people here, I suffered from tonsil stones and had my tonsils removed several years ago. Unfortunately this didn't cure my bb. However, I've been looking around and apparently tonsil stones and bacteria can form on or in ALL tonsil tissues. Therefore, if you've only had your palantine tons...

Lingual Tonsils and Adenoids

Many of us here have had our palantine tonsils removed, due to tonsil stones, but unfortunately many of us (including myself), found that this didn't help with our bb. I'm just wondering how many people have had their lingual tonsils and/or adenoids removed and found that this helped improve their b...

I agree with Archi. I posted that comment a while back when I felt the forum was stagnating without any new and useful input. Keeptrying is the only person who's posted any interesting information recently, and more importantly, he suffered with bad breath for years, but found the source of his prob...

thf, Congratulations on actually getting a doctor to admit that candida can be a problem without you being immuno-compromised, even if he was reluctant to treat you. What dosage of diflucan has he put you on, and for how long? Also what is a nasal raise, and how is it treated? I'm convinced I have a...

It does sound like you may have a candida infection if this antifungal cream is affecting your bb. Strange that a cream would have an effect though, rather than a pill. On the other hand, it may just be a coincidence, hard to say really... Have you read Keeptrying's thread, he had a candida infectio...
