Hi ithurts, I live in a Scotland and there's not much sunlight around here in the winter so I've found that a light box really helps with depression. I take St Johns Wort sometimes too, it works really well (it's been proven to be as effective as prescription antidepressants against mild to moderate...

Hi ithurts, I was just wondering, as vitamin d is classified as the 'sunlight' vitamin, and is only found in small amounts in a small number of foods, has your doctor recommended a supplement or light therapy? I suffer from SAD during the winter and use a light therapy box to top up mu sunlight leve...

Hi ithurts, Are you in the UK? Did you just ask your GP for a bacterial saliva test? Strange that it came back normal. I see your going to have a similar test for your nose too, if you have a bacterial infection in your nose though wouldn't you still expect some of this bacteria to also be in your m...

Hi Dreamweaver, Thanks for the reply. That's pretty good news about your wisdoms, do you think you'll have them extracted? Sounds like your dentist will recommend it. Could you describe what the pocket around your molar looks like? I have a back wisdom where the gum has pulled away slightly from my ...

Hi Dreamweaver,

Any up date on your situation? Have you seen a dentist about the gum around your tooth yet?

Hi Ithurts,

Could you tell me where you went for your saliva culture? Was it a dentist or a doctor?

Hi ithurts, Congrats on your bb improvement!! :D I was wondering, when did you have your wisdom teeth extracted? Did you noticed an improvement in your bb straight away or was it more of a gradual improvement? And you think your bb improvement is more to do with the extractions than the deep cleanin...

Hi Green,

Has your deep cleaning improved you bb in the long-term? What exactly did it involve? And how much did it cost?

Were you diagnosed with gingivitus, or did you just try the treatment on the off chance that it would help your bb?

Hi Harry, I'd say that it's probably way to early to tell either way, it's only been four days since your first extraction. Are the blood clots giving you bb? As cured said, it took a month for his blood clot smell to disappear, and I've read that it takes at least two weeks to improve. I think it's...

Hi Cured, Thanks for such a detailed reply, and yes, you are still making sense and being consistant! :D I was interested (and reassured), to read that the smell from your blood clots didn't disappear for a month. It's been almost a week since my extractions and the clot smell is still pretty strong...

Hi ithurts, I got my top two wisdom teeth out last Wednesday, so I'd be interested to know how your healing compares to mine. Have you noticed any instant improvements or are you still tasting the blood clots? Apparently this taste/smell can last a few weeks, so that's pretty much all I can detect a...

Hi Cured, So I had my top two wisdom teeth extracted on Wednesday. The dentist showed me the teeth and they were very odd looking, the roots were curved around and squashed flat....very strange! But, I didn't really have that instant feeling of relief and thinking, I've found the source of my bb, th...
