I second this. I had sushi a couple weeks ago and while it didn't magically freshen my breath (that would be a hell of a nice cure) it left my mouth feeling much cleaner than almost anything else I could eat or drink.

A couple weeks ago I posted a topic about the possibility that we have low amounts of Immunoglobulin-A. Its the one that resides in the ear/nose/throat/esophagus area to protect the soft tissues from infection. If we have low amounts of it, maybe this is why we experience bacterial overgrowth.
