Re: Can you smell/taste your own BB?

I can smell it only rarely. But it’s like a kick in the guts when I do. Emotionally I mean. I get a ‘gooey’ mouth which actually feels good to me physically, but I know is a sign that my mouth and breath smells bad. I know it always smells, because my husband told me it does. Before him my first hus...

Pepto bismol (bismuth)

Anyone tried this?

I just bought some online and have high hopes.

It is not approved for use in Australia (veterinary use only)

And I’ve only heard about it here.

Not a cure... sadly. But maybe it’ll help. Who knows?

Re: Bad breath of the morning that does not go away when wake up early ?

Hello, I am back from the naturopath. She did not smell my breath (unfortunately Ok. Why did she not smell your breath? She knows that’s what you’re there for, doesn’t she??? How is she supposed to treat an ailment she has not bothered to thoroughly examine??? This makes me cross. Secondly, does sh...

Re: fecal transplant (did anyone go through with this)

I wish you good luck Gotshot. I really, really hope this is the remedy for all your ills including B.B. Does the clinic know you are hoping for a B.B. cure? Not sure if you’ve attended the clinic in person yet but do you intend to mention your B.B. if you haven’t already? Have they or do you expect ...

Can someone please explain the types?

I have read about the types on here a few times and I’m a bit mystified.

I’d be grateful if someone could explain both the types and how to figure out which type one might have.

Thanks :)

Re: Dry lips

I have very dry lips naturally and I absolutely love and recommend using pure lanolin. It’s gorgeous, and soothes immediately. If I don’t use it on a regular basis my lips bleed. Chap stick and Vaseline does nothing. Try lanolin. You will love it! :) FYI I buy it in a tube and use a tiny little dab....

Re: Maybe there are some silver linings?

No specialists unless you include general practitioners and dentists. I have never tried the clay but I was thinking about trying diactomaceous earth - however you spell it. I know that there’s no cure for what I have, only management. I don’t know of any long term sufferer that has been cured, do y...

Re: Maybe there are some silver linings?

Fasting seems to help. I once went on an exclusion diet for six weeks Strictly no dairy, sugar or flour I think it was. No change. I’ve tried apple cider vinegar, no dice. I’ve used otc decongestants for my pnd. No good. Did nothing. I’ve used amphetamines as a decongestant - was fun. But again. Nop...

Maybe there are some silver linings?

Hi everyone, Firstly, I’d like to thank Jimi for running and operating this forum. I promise to donate soon. I’ve had bad breath my whole life. I remember the first time I was told. It was by my grandma and I was maybe 6? FYI I am currently a 40yo woman. Grandma said both my brother and I had it. I ...

Re: fecal transplant (did anyone go through with this)

How much do they charge for treatment in Sydney?
I noticed that they don't have any reviews for BB, only colonoscopies... makes me feel sceptical.

A lot of people make a lot of money from our desperation.
