i fear my bb is now smoke and poop mixed together! Therefore: Search the root cause and solve it. It's not impossible. Hi deebo, yes I got tested for h pylori but it was negative, sorry forgot to add a few things to the list of things I've tried. I was hoping it would be the cause but clearly not

Hi, sorry I dont know anything about bacterial or non bacterial bb, but i also smoke. I have smoked for about 7 years, and when I quit recently the taste in my mouth made me feel ill. thanks for the reply aus, have you had your wisdom teeth and tonsils removed, and has it helped? yes am going to visit another doctor who can hopefully refer me to get top wisdom teeth removed as well. But I do know that they are sent to one place where all referrals are sent, before being passed on...

Thanks for the replies, think I'm going to have to lie a bit, have been to 5 GPs at my surgery and none of them would even refer me to an ENT specialist.
One of them did say that if I could get some liquid out of my tonsil then they could swab it, don't know if that will make a difference though.
