how strange, my problem is the opposite - if I dont get enough sleep, or the longer i stay awake, the worse my breath is. Not sure how this relates to acid reflux then, but maybe its a similar thing.

i fear my bb is now smoke and poop mixed together! Therefore: Search the root cause and solve it. It's not impossible. Hi, sorry I dont know anything about bacterial or non bacterial bb, but i also smoke. I have smoked for about 7 years, and when I quit recently the taste in my mouth made me feel ill. Thanks for the replies, think I'm going to have to lie a bit, have been to 5 GPs at my surgery and none of them would even refer me to an ENT specialist.
One of them did say that if I could get some liquid out of my tonsil then they could swab it, don't know if that will make a difference though.
