how strange, my problem is the opposite - if I dont get enough sleep, or the longer i stay awake, the worse my breath is. Not sure how this relates to acid reflux then, but maybe its a similar thing.

i fear my bb is now smoke and poop mixed together! Therefore: Search the root cause and solve it. It's not impossible. Even if you have done everything there are still experts (e.g. Aydin Murat in Istanbul). I agree that the root cause needs to be found, it's just the main issue I'm facing is money...

Hi deebo, yes I got tested for h pylori but it was negative, sorry forgot to add a few things to the list of things I've tried. I was hoping it would be the cause but clearly not :(

Hi, sorry I dont know anything about bacterial or non bacterial bb, but i also smoke. I have smoked for about 7 years, and when I quit recently the taste in my mouth made me feel ill. Thanks for the link btw. I used to rarely brush my teeth as a child and never really thought about bb, it just didnt occur to me even though I had many comments. I thought maybe as I didnt often brush my teeth that when my wisdom teeth came out slightly there could have been bacteria which got caugh...

thanks for the reply aus, have you had your wisdom teeth and tonsils removed, and has it helped? yes am going to visit another doctor who can hopefully refer me to get top wisdom teeth removed as well. But I do know that they are sent to one place where all referrals are sent, before being passed on...

My wisdom teeth are all unerupted although I do remember the bottom ones coming out my gums slightly a few years back and then disappearing again! But basically they need to be done at the hospital, and the dentist said he wasn't going to refer me for top ones too. I do have pain at top of mouth but...

Thanks for the replies, think I'm going to have to lie a bit, have been to 5 GPs at my surgery and none of them would even refer me to an ENT specialist.
One of them did say that if I could get some liquid out of my tonsil then they could swab it, don't know if that will make a difference though.
