Re: Cure....

Thanks for sharing StillHoping, your story was hard to read because I can relate to it so much. I am now at a point where I too am beginning to accept that this is something I will need to deal with for the rest of my life. I will send this over to Alex now, and hope that others have done the same t...

Re: Cure....

Can you please send them my "story". Although I don't have much to say - I have had BB for 19 years [since I was 10 years old]. My father and one sibling [who believe he is now cured after a change in diet] also have BB - I believe we we inherited it from our father; maybe not genetically...

Re: Cure....

Lifelongsufferer i'm with you. This sounds like something that really could cure us. Hospitals are already performing Fecal microbiota transplants to cure bacterial imbalance in the gut. If the same thing can be done to the mouth, then it's a cure. I will email my story to him. I'm glad you see whe...

Re: Cure....

What I wrote is true. You don't know if this method is a cure, but your title is "Cure...." for some reason. You just want extra clicks? Why exactly?! I don't find it funny that you claim to have a cure and then you give us something else. I truly believe that this is what we have all bee...

Re: Cure....

Your passive aggression bewilders me, we are in the same boat so there's no need to be so rude, but I understand how awful your life must be so i won't hold it against you. If you'd read what I wrote you'd see I can't "get it done" because the scientist doesn't yet have the grant from the ...

A potential cure (Oral Microbiota Transplant)

Hi guys, I hope you're all well (as well as can be, anyway) You may remember I wrote a post not long ago about Oral Microbiota Transplants as a potential cure. The post can be found here: http://www.badbreathhalitosis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=58053#p58053 The scientist I spoke to had told me he wa...

Guys? :| I thought we could actually have a positive discussion and work together to try and find sponsorship from a philanthropist or medical funding organisation. Guess I'm on my own on this one..

Jimi, did you actually even read his post? He's just giving an honest opinion, which isn't overly positive. Chill out!

Re: Oral Microbiota Transplant - light at the end of the tunnel?

Hi smallman, I'm sorry that probiotics haven't worked for you. I didn't have any luck with them either, but I believe the oral probiotics available are a con. They don't permenantly populate your mouth, obviously because to make money the company need you to keep taking them. A probiotic is also no ...

Oral Microbiota Transplant - light at the end of the tunnel?

A few months ago I came across the following study which examined the oral Microbiota of several patients, some who suffer from chronic periodontitis. They found distinct differences in the bacteria found in those with periodontitis which led them to believe that a complete transplant of the oral Mi...

Re: Bad Breath Gone - Please Read

Stillhoping - thank you Dead - Doc came in my room the morning after the operation and said 'you were right, there were tonsil stones' I'd said to him before i thought the bb was coming from hidden stones. I asked him if he got rid of all the crypts and places they could embed and he said yes. rub ...

Re: Chlorine Bleach, diluted with water, as mouthwash

I've not [yet] seen signs of hairy tongue, since using this approach for more than three (3) months. I will continue to pay close attention; and, I will report any negative side-effects. Thanks for your reply! Sorry to ask so many questions, but I just have two more regarding this. 1. Do you find t...

Re: Chlorine Bleach, diluted with water, as mouthwash

Have you tried using the diluted sodium hypochlorite method more then once, for example for several consecutive days? If so, does the effect wear off, each time, after 4 hours; or, does the benefit last longer each time? Hi searching, The day that I posted was after the first day of use. Today is t...

Re: Chlorine Bleach, diluted with water, as mouthwash

Hey searching! Thanks for your detailed thread. I decided to try your method, and purchased sodium hypochlorite online. The only stuff I could find was 14%, so I diluted half a tsp with 28 tsp of distilled water. I tried swishing and gargling for 1 minute in the shower and noticed some immediate imp...
