Cured, I think you hit upon something that I also noticed. It may be due to the fact that most toothpaste has ingredients in it that make things worse, probably the sweeteners and/or foaming agents. I know that anything sweet makes my breath odor worse. I sometimes make my own toothpaste out of hydr...

You have practically diagnosed your own problem in the above post. Your breath odor is most probably related to your digestive issues. And your post nasal drip makes it worse because the mucus accumulates in your throat. So your throat is a veritable bacteria factory. In fact it would surprise me if...

hali_grl, "I know my digestion is all messed up I have bloating, gas, indigestion, and colon cancer runs in my family. I think my whole digestion system is inflammed and not working properly." The problems in your digestive tract are most probably the cause of your bad breath. I don't thin...

You answered your own question. Doctors don't know anything about bad breath.
If they did, no one would have bad breath.
In fact, if a doctor has bad breath, he cannot cure himself. So what's the point of asking a doctor anything about bad breath?

You mentioned stomach pain several times. If you have a problem in your stomach or intestines, this could be the cause of your bad breath. This should be your area of investigation. Food itself cannot cure bad breath. However, if you do have digestive issues, the proper diet can help. Keep in mind i...

Mike987,
It seems that you have had a problem with keeping the weight on for some time. I don't want to sound alarming, but have you been checked for intestinal parasites? Sometimes they consume most of the nutrients before your body can absorb them. It might also explain your loose bowel movements.

The link between Solobacterium Moorei and bad breath appears to be much stronger than that found for other species. In studies where researchers looked for the organism in the mouths of volunteers, they found it in virtually all subjects with oral malodor, and in almost none of those without the con...

Seanlee1980, Aids drugs suppress the human immuno-deficiency virus. I don't see how those drugs can help you if you don't even have the virus. You mentioned that your IgA level is low. Immunoglobulin A is an antibacterial component of saliva. Your saliva might not have enough antibacterial action to...

I don't know if brushing your teeth three or four times a day is a good thing to do. Commercial toothpaste has a lot of stuff in it that doesn't belong in the mouth. You might be killing off the good bacteria along with the bad. The tongue coating is always thickest in the back, which leads me to th...

Halitosisux, A while back I posted that I thought most of us are probably missing Salivary Immunoglobulin A or some other antibacterial substance in our saliva which produces an overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria in the mouth. And you said it's more likely that there is something in saliva that should...

I wouldn't write off the Lufenuron just yet. As previously reported, I took the 3-day dose of Lufenuron about a month ago (around Easter). Since then I have noticed that there has been a definite improvement in my bowel movements in terms of consistency and regularity, and I have always had issues i...

Can a gas really be "condensing" in the nasal cavity? Doesn't it take a drop in temperature to cause condensation of a gas? Wouldn't normal body temperature prevent condensation?
