The doctor found it during a routine examination. Sounds to me like she just felt it with her hands. At least i think so, but it's weird how the person didn't ever notice it considering how big it was.

If your wisdom teeth are impacted they could totally be the cause. I would definitely get them out if i were you. If you rub your finger on the flaps does it smell? If so that's a clear sign.

Sounds like a good plan. Usually we will just try antobiotics alone, or diet alone. The key might be to combine them. The additional nasal wash to stop the PND might be key to.
