Halitosis type-1 is often a consequence of halitosis type II and III. Overgrowth of bacteria in sinuses or intestines will change the flora in mouth. White tongue is present in the type-I,II and III. ZnCl can reduce the BB by getting rid of bacteria in tongue temporaly, but BB from the insides will ...

Hi ayidnur Accordingy to your halitosis classification, I would say to have the type 3, which end up in type -1, too. I'm lactose and fructose intolerant, so I may have overgrowth of bacteria in intestines. I experience a silent reflux. SO the fluids in my mouth cause the halitosis type-1. Very whit...

bbsux, this is interesting, I do not have PND. But I believe I suffer from silent reflux. When doing the same thing as you did, trying to reach the throat with my fingers and scrapping a little bit, they came out with a fault odor. When also scrapping my back tongue, it comes with the same bad odor....

Cola as well as coffe, both contain caffeine, this exacerbate BB, perhaps by increasing reflux or PND.

After all tests performed on me, ruled out the reflux thing. However the sensation of full stomach and fluids coming up to my stomach is so real, that I can wake up on mornings with a lot of saliva on my pillow. Little pressure on my stomach when lying down favors the fluid to reach my mouth. I'm de...

Finally, on april 2010 the GE accepted to do an extra test on me to rule out the silent reflux, and possible accumulation of undigested food in my stomach. She ordered a Gastric Emptying study for solid foods. The gastric emptying study is a procedure that is done by nuclear medicine physicians usin...

Of course, I have tried all type of medications: 1-Oral antibiotics, which helped, but after stopping, BB came back. 2-Antifungals did not work. 3- PPis and carefate did not work, those made my BB worse(logically, I do not have the acid reflux.) In my case, drinking water does not help. The regurgita...

Does your breath smell as if you have chewed a gum?
About your stomachache, did bodymint cause you reflux?
I wonder if this is for me too.

Hi all, I'm almost 100% sure that my BB is caused for a silent reflux I feel. This is, I do not have the burning sensation, but after any meal, I have a feeling of regurgitation and full stomach, I also burp moderately. I usually go to bed 4-5 hrs after my last meal to diminish my BB next morning. Wh...

Corrin, I used to take it for the time recommended, which is 5-7 days. During the time taking it I was BB free, but BB came back two days after stopping the treatment. Doing this routine was effective sometime, but when taken so often, BB bacteria become resistant to it. Interestingly, oral antibiot...

Hi Corrin, now since you are going to take this drug, which is derived from oxytetracyclin, you have the opportunity to confirm if your BB is due for overgrown of anerobic bacteria, and not for fungus. Tetracyclins were so effective for me to stop BB when taken orally. But remember the bad bacteria ...

That is interesting, since most of the people including myself we cannot detect our bad breath, we usually require from others to know about our BB condition (from a relative or based in the reaction of the people). I would wish to detect my BB somehow to know my real breath condition when talking t...
