My doctor was the same. He however became more helpful as soon as I told him that my condition could cause me to lose my job. If your job is likely to be affected, doctors have a duty to take things more seriously. Its like glamour models requesting bigger boob jobs. Doctors take it seriously if it ...

A week ago I took 400mg 3 times a day of Metronidazole for 7 days with 150mg of fluconazole per day for 15 days. I am still in the middle of the fluconazole course. Results are hard to determine at present. O...

Had mine done privately but was paid for by my medical insurance. Although only 6 months ago, I dont remember the exact figure on the invoice. I think it was around £4000. I think the procedure was half to two thirds of the cost with the rest being initial and final consultations and overnight stay ...

So I have just finished the first weeks treatment regime which meant the end of taking metronidazole but have not been overly impressed with results so far. I'm sure active tooth decay does, but not a root canal that is uninfected/in working order lol. But, root canals have the tendency to get infected, and if a rootcanal does cause BB.. it's probably because of an infection! Make sure you check your mouth for some tiny holes haha, I didn't realize min...

I have just got myself: Metronidazole 400mg x 21 Metronidazole 200mg x 21 Fluconazole 150mg x14 Not sure whether to take 600mg of the Metronidazole or just 400mg (three times a day for 7days) and save the 200mg for another time. Right now I am likely going to go for the 600mg as up to 800mg should b...

I keep on reading about type I, II or III halitosis but do not know what they are. Can someone please explain. As for myself, I thought I was cured but it appears to be more of a case that I cant smell my own bad breath at all now. I've tried the licking of the wrist, scraping the toungue with a spo...

Definitely get them done.
Its the best thing I have done and reduced my BB significantly. It never cured it because I later found I had an impacted wisdom tooth which is similar to the tonsil in that the flappy gum would house lots of smelly bacteria which produced white slimey stuff that stank.

@bbuk and sputnik Why do you think that sucking a probiotic lozenge will have the slightest effect on your gut microflora? Its doubtful that any probiotic products manage to reach the intestines unless they are designed to be delivered down there through specially designed capsules etc. The breath ...
