I also think PND is a major contributor to bb. I`ve started rinsing my sinuses and gargling and it`s helped a lot.

of course stagnant mucus can cause bad breath. It can be a perfect environment for bacteria whicj cause halitosis.

Dr. Murat, thank u again. Shall a person with type 2 halitosis take Metronidazole before taking oral probiotics (in order to decrease the level of anaerobic bacteria), or he/she may start taking the oral probiotic directly? Aydinmurat,
thank you for commenting. Is it possible that a person whose halitosis temporarily disappears after Metronidazole, may have type 1+type 2 halitosis?
What do you think about oral probiotics in this case? In your opinion, is there a chance to repopoulate the oral cavity with good bacteria?

I have tried oxygen infusions; they made me feel great but did nothing for my breath. Then I started drinking oxygenated water, which made no difference either.
U may want to search on this forum, I think there are plenty of posts on the subject.

Here`s how most bacteria, that are part of probiotics, act. They are not intended to fight oral anaeribic bacteria: Bifidobacterium lactis – a friendly bacteria often found in yogurt that is known to help stimulate immune responses Lactobacillus acidophilus – guards the health of your entire digesti...

@Music Lady
Exactly which probiotics are u taking, because I see Jarrow Formulas have 25 different probiotics?
I`m also taking probiotics which help me with my digestive system, but they do nothing for my oral bacteria.
Have u tried the Evora which is specifically an oral probiotic?

"Doesnt take a lot to rule out helicobacter" that`s true, but it`s funny to make statements like "Bad breath, when everything has unsuccessfully been tried, comes from the lungs and due to infection by HELICOBACTER PYLORI". I won`t even bother to comment this, I need my energy fo...
