My theory is that it all comes to anaerobic bacterial overgrowth in the mouth which leads to halitosis; whatever the reason for that bacterial disbalance, anaerobs in the mouth is what gives us the shit breath. What makes me so shure about that theory is the following: - I have had my anaerobs teste...

Thank u, Phantasist
I`ll definitely try Evora but at a later stage, Decemebr, maybe.
Bacterial overgrowth in the intestines doesn`t seem to be a very likely cause for halitosis, but what do I know...

Renato,
I `ve also thought about removing the lingual tonsil, but for someone whose bb may be caused by reflux, this is no answer.Moreover, this removal may worsen the situation, I`ve discussed it with an ENT

Phantasist, thanx for bothering to reply and give some advice. Perhaps we should be having this discussion in another thread so that more ppl could benefit from it... You get my ideas right - I feel that I have an overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria in the mouth due to acute pharyngitis in the past or ...

Phantasist, I have also read that Asian doctors think that a coating on the tongue can be a sign of some intestinal infection, but white coating on the tongue does not necessarily mean one has halitosis. Do u have any theory about the mechanism of halitosis, caused by intestinal problems? Because I ...

I can smell something but I would REALLY LIKE to be able to smell myself the way others do....Haligone, I completely understand you about being paranoid, I `m being paranoid all the time - every little thing others do makes me think they react to my bb

Phantasist, basically I agree with u. The overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria is the result of another problem. And in most cases it is very hard (or impossible) to find it out. One can only guess and try different things in order to find what the underlying cause of the problem may possibly be. Do u r...

@hopelessone
thank u for trying to be so nice
@popaloo
my theory is that whatever the basic problem is, it`s all about overgrowth of anaerobic bacteria in the mouth and maybe nasopharynx, so I think that all efforts should be concentrated in that direction...

Hi Haligone, I never meant you, I meant Xyli, who had claimed she `d been cured with the help of xylitol. Here`s the link to her post http://www.badbreathhalitosis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2980&highlight=xylitol Rest assured that a 'master" would know the difference between the different ...

Yeah, stressedout
same for me, in fact when I`m fasting (not eating proteins) my bb diminishes, but we shouldn`t be fooling ourselves - we shall not be cured until we can do everything and not get bb (I still hope this is possible)

@stressedout Of course I don`t mean that for ppl with food intolerances and allergies, sure they have to keep diets. But Alid said she WASN`T FOOD INTOLERANT @Alid The chances of being cured aren`t that bad, I believe it`s not impossible I have also found smth that has helped a little and I KNOW EXA...

maybe Xylitol is good for the people without halitosis, since it reduces dental plaque, for me - it made my mouth dryer and bb worse
I think it is not necessary to swallow it, if one is to try Xylitol, it can be used as a mouthwash when dissolved in water

Here`s what I`ve found "The local treatment with probiotics can modify the oral ecosystem and thus to affect the immune system. The aim of this study is to investigate the alterations in slgA in saliva after local oral intake of tablets with Lb.bulgaricus and Sn.thermophilus . The results of th...

Xylitol made me bb worse, maybe Aydinmur was right - it`s an alcohol and can`t be helpful for ppl with halitosis.
