Hi, this is the what happened at the movie theatre the best as I
remember, I suffer some from traumatic amensia so sometimes details
are hard.

It was a Saturday afternoon, usually I try to go on a weekday
afternoon when it is not so crowded, but my daughter was working a
double and I needed some time to kill.

I stood in line, purchased my ticket and went in. I had checked in
the actual theatre, but the previous show wasn't finished so I went
out in the hall to sit down as I have trouble standing.

I was there for just a couple of minutes and a police officer walked
up to me and said I need to talk to you. I showed him my ticket
stub and told him I had a valid ticket, I was just waiting for the
theatre to get cleaned.

He said it is not that. He asked me if I have heard of the right to
be law. Which basically states that people have the right to go out
and do things without being offended by other people. He said they
had received complaint about my odor and the theatre was filing a
tresspassing order against me. Which meant that if I step foot on
their property or try to see a movie in anyway, I would be arrested
on the spot.

I informed him it was a medical condition and he said it didn't
matter. I told infact I had the upcoming hearing in a couple of
weeks at that time and he said that none of that made any
difference. The law exists no matter the circumstance. He gave the
a copy of the police report and his phone number.

The police officer made sure they refunded my ticket purchase. And
he told me this law applies to all businesses within Greenville
county and if another business complains about me, I will be
arrested on the spot because I am aware of this law and if I voilate
it, it would be the same thing as committing a crime.

Then he walked me out to the building to make sure I left and he
said now understand if you try to come back I will have to arrest
you on the spot.

I was devestated and have been watching over my shoulder everywhere
I go, I can't go in anywhere, because I start getting extremely
nervous and start shaking uncontrolably.

The police report was entered into record as evidence at my SSDI
hearing.

I have tried writing letters to the company and to the senetors, but
no response.

I feel like it is complete discrimination, but I don't know what to
do about it. When I get the papers from SSDI, I plan to seek out
an attorney, if I can find one that will take the case.

From what I understand there are 22 major cities in the United
states that have laws about smelling in public. Sometimes I just
don't understand people.

Can you beleive this?

That's just terrible. That's the kind of negative reinforcement that people with TMAU don't need.
