ENT specialist experiences

Hi ppl. Was thinking of going to a private ENT specialist as my last try. We all know how helpful doctors are. I had a few appointment with ENT Doc via my GP but he wasn't interested. As soon as I mentioned halitosis as my biggest problem he just lost interest.
He did say that I had a really sensitive nose and I should be taking nasal steroid sprays all my life. Also I had my tonsils out at age 10. Seems to be some tissue regrowth.
But he was vague and never offered a solution.
I would like to know if any of you tried to go private or even through NHS to an ENT specialist? What have been your experiences?
Hope you have great new year.

Never say bad breath is the only problem. Google for other symptoms. These dumb doctors won't take any further action if they don't hear anything about what they have learnt in school.

Sopo exactly you are right.Don't take any antibiotics guys. That damages gut flora which is the most important for our immunity system.Only holistic doctors can help us.Holistic means the whole body.

I went to an ENT a few years ago ive told him i had bad breath, asshole looked at my tounge with a popsicle stick for 3 seconds and said i can give you antibiotics but thats all we could do for bad breath. Idiot i wanted to punch him, even with insurance i still had to pay 120 bucks. I went to a different ent last year he said i had a diviated septum. I got the operation, i can breath 10 times easier but still have bad breath. I will try the candida cleanse someone talked about in another post.

Hey how many follow ups you had after your deviated septum surgery?
I recently underwent that surgery. I had 2 follow ups, each time doc took out huge chunk of sticky mucous from my nose. My question is after how many weeks the formation of mucus deep inside nose will stop? I don't feel any difference in my breathing after the surgery it's been 3 weeks. I'm also scared about the mucus thickening in the sinuses, what if they get infected and start to smell like sh*t. The cluster of mucus is deep inside the nose I cannot blow it out myself.

They barely got any mucus out of me on the the second follow up suction. I do the sinus rinse every day and rarely get mucus coming out.
