My Journey so Far

Post by essse »

I have had bb for ever. Years of antibiotics.
Used several products that did not work
What has worked partially so far
Went to a bad breath treatment center over a year ago. They clean the tongue for about 1hour with each visit and did some deep teeth and gum treatment. They charged me over $12,000. I paid a little above $6,000. I stopped the treatment because I was still having bb especially from my throat. But my tongue felt clean.
I later discovered that I had Tonsil stones. Saw an ENT but was too scared to get the surgery done especially if that was not the main cause of the problem. Went to a GI specialist H.pyloric was positive and got treated which helped. Started using tongue scrapper on my tonsil which helped to reduce the size of the tonsil and the number of stones that come up.
I got a water lase treatment with an ENT specialist on my tongue sometime in October cost was $500. It worked better then the previous treat. way cheaper too. Was advice to come back for some tonsil treatment to close the little opening were this stones form. The ENT told me the problem was on my tongue and that I also have a tongue tie which have proven to be common with individuals with bb through a research study.
I just completed a 21 days Daniel fast which seem to have improved my bb and have not had a single tonsil stone since then (3weeks now). Next step is to extract my wisdom tooth (about 3 of them) because my floss smell horrible after using it between certain teeth. Started regular diet but will be doing 2 to 3 days of the Daniel diet weekly. Hope this helps someone. There are multiple causes of bb that is why we have to try several options sometimes multiple option to fix the problem. I was also told that our partners do not smell the bb because they have become use to it. That is also the reason some people cannot tell if they have bb.

Hi, thanks for sharing! What exactly is a tongue tie? And what does the Daniel diet consist of?

Thanks!

Daniel diet is lick a strict vegan diet, no sweets, no artificial seasoning. There are several youtube videos about it. The Daniel Fast by Susan Gregory is a very good book to read on that.
tongue tie Tongue-tie is a condition present at birth that restricts the tongue's range of motion.

Thanks for sharing your story, essse.I also have issues with my gums and my gut tells me that it has something to do with my liver -- but I'm not 100% certain.
Have you tried flushing your liver? It's the only thing that seems to be helping in my case, but it's a long and strenuous process. I've been doing it for 2-3 years and I'm still flushing stones out of my system. Following a flush, my bad breath clears up but that only last a couple of days and it could be due to remaining stones moving to the front of the liver.
Do you have any other symptoms besides bad breath? ADD? Brain fog? lack of focus?

I have not tried the liver flush. I will definitely try it. Tell me if you have any tips on how you go about it. I also do not have any other significant thing going on but sometimes you do not realize it until someone mention it. Thank for the advice will keep you posted.

Hi Essse,

You are welcome. Here is a liver flush protocol: https://www.davidwolfe.com/liver-gallbl ... -protocol/
Just a heads up: Once you start flushing your liver, you need to keep doing it until it's free of gallstones (every 3-4 weeks). You have to be careful with your diet and eat lightly for a couple of days following the flush. Stone breaker from herbpharm and apple cider vinegar (a lot of it) are useful if you experience pain following a flush (typically due to big stones obstructing the bile duct). Andrea Moritz is an excellent resource and you should read extensively before doing your first flush so you know what to expect. Colonics are a must before and after the flush -- if you can't do them, then it's better to avoid the flushes altogether.

On a different note, I've started taking turmeric and it seems to be helping with my BB and my gums. (It's also a good idea to avoid gluten, sugar, and limit your carbs intake in general to see if it helps with your gums.)
This is how I use turmeric: I buy it whole, I slice it lengthwise, place it in a pot and cover it with water. I let it sit in the water for 30 min, then I bring it to a boil and simmer it for another 30 minutes. I strain it and reserve the water from the first batch. I do this a second time (by adding a new batch of water) to extract as much benefits as possible from the turmeric, strain it etc.. and I mix the two batches I obtained and drink the mix throughout the day. I typically like to add ginger (I slice it), cinnamon barks, and nigella seeds too on top of the turmeric.

I started doing this after reading a research paper about how turmeric is super efficient against fatty liver.

Good luck and let me know if you have any question.

One thing I forgot to specify: In the study, patients were given 70mg of turmeric daily for 8 weeks and some saw their fatty liver improve by 70%.
I take turmeric one or twice a day and started noticing an improvement in my bb after day 3 or 4.
