halitosisux said leave tongue alone. I think he right
Well went to docs.
She said cream on skin definately wouldnt affevt my tongue ( I disagree)
Said candida was mainly immune compromised people. (i disagree)
Said the rash was something called pityriasis rosea, and all I needed was hydrocortisone.
Gave me diflucan 1 pill a week for a month because I insisted.
Asked if there was any test to take to find out whats going on said no, your no history of diabetes so I cant think of any.
I told her she was wrong, I had gestational diabetes with both pregnances, and everyone in my fmily has it , and I have symptoms, She then said then I could very well have candida.
She said she was sending me for diabetes testing and aniemic testing, then I told her i probably am aniemic, she had put me on iron pills herself. I did take my printed paper of symptoms, and she didnt thnk anything of it.
I didnt ask her for candida test, she went on to say that people think they can see candida in the blood but I dont believe it, so I assumed she wouldnt evn test me.
So she gave me diflucan or atleast told me she was giving it to me but when i went to pick it up with the anti itch med for the rash , there was no diflucan. So now I have to call back tomorow to let her know she forgot it.
I dont care what she says I am 99 % sure that putting on that cream cleared my tongue and breath, ther is no other reason for it to have happened.
Is it candida? I guess I wont know until the moonth is over when I am done with the diflucan.

Meowkitty, how is your breath right now? Do people still cough/sneeze?
I share your frustrations with doctors, i saw 3 general practitioner last week and i was only able to convince 1 to give me Diflucan and.. he wouldnt prescribe me more than 1 single dose, 150mg. and he did it out of pity or to shut me up. I aksed for more and he refused.
My advice to anyone who is trying to be put on a full course of Difflucan, forget about getting it from your GP, go straight to a gastro doc and find a way to get an endoscopy like Keeptrying did, don't waste your time with GPs. In my country i cant even see a gastro doc unless a GP agrees 1st and they wont let me see one If money isn't a problem and you're in a country with privatize medicine, then go straight to a gastro doc and pay for an endoscopy, i would if i could.
Now that i think about it, wouldn't lying about having severe reflux and other stomach problems could get me an appointment with a gastro doc? Probably. But that still doesn't mean he'd agree to give me an endoscopy. I might give it a shot. Eventho i've already ordered Biozole, i still want to get an endoscopy, i want answers! And proper care from a specialist wouldnt hurt either.

No doubt it was the cream. I can't wait to try Fluconazole. I'm amazed that not only it cured your BB but also the "people are allergic to me" reactions such as coughing, sneezing, etc. It proves that they were caused by a fungus. Antifungal drugs kill not only candida but every other fungus too.meowkity1 wrote: Archimonde would you agree that it seems like it is definately the cream.
There`s a difference between the 3 gases being tested in the oral chroma. If you have the methyl mercaptan & hydrogen sulfide, they are easier to treat. If you have an elevation of dimethyl sulfide, it is bloodborne & doesn`t have a cure right now but I`m sure there will be a cure for it someday. It also doesn`t hurt to have something to show to doctors. In any case that you pass the test then just consider it as an elimination process of possible sources of bb.meowkity1 wrote:getting the oral chroma test, wouldnt that just confirm I have bad breath, wich I already know, except for lately

Iv taken 2 pills of diflucan, I haave 2 pills to go .i hope this was it for me. But i imagine I will have to eat right and do what I can for it not to come back because shes not going to keeep giving it to me. She actually insisted I use nistatin I insiste on the diflucan.
I havnt taken my diabetes and other labs yes, because it takes time in the morning. And weve been having alot of snow. Im amhoping to this couple of weeks.

It is definitely the cream, and what you doctor told is totally not true, here's why,
My chemistry professor( Doctor) told me once you touch something it can go right through your skin, for example there's a chemical that smells like garlic, don't remember what it's called, but even if you touch a little bit of it, your tongue will smell like garlic, the strongest garilic smell!
I'm also thinking of trying anti fungal cream, but i want to do my endoscopy first, then the cream.
plz keep us updated on your endoscopy.
She probably didnt think it was possible to go through the skin becuaes they told e to put a thin layer on. But this rash was allover my upper body adn I was putting it on thick. And like five times a day, I didnt care about side affects. And he cure ddint happen for 2 weeks. \
I woke up 1 morning and thie middle was completely pink, not 1inch of white. And over the next three days the clear pathc just kept spreading until my whole tongue was completely pink. I mean completley. Not a spec of white. Its coming back in mornings but it comes off easy so I am assuming its probably just the normal white tongure that alot of people have when they wake up. I know if I take water to bed it definately helps.
Wanaysha I am not scheduled for an endoscopy, thats someone else
