All i drink is water and i have bb yet i see most of the other students in my college classroom sipping on coke, starbucks coffee, and smoothies every day and they have perfect breath.

Our bb is not normal bb. Most people experience bb after they eat strong foods like onions , garlic, etc. This is where most sistes tell you brush your teeth and gargle with mouth wash and drink plenty of water. Yes that works on normal people but not US!

We constantly experience bb which tells me drinking alot of water will do nothing for our bb. Trust me i would know, at one point i didnt touch anything other than water for 3 straight months (i am talking about liquids ofcourse)... Results: NO IMPROVEMENT!

We have an illness, It could be candida, fungal infection, stomach problem, etc (not man people know what it is obv). One thing is for certain though, no amount of drinking water, brushing teeth, and gargaling with mouthwashes will improve our bb as these things will not cure candida, fungal infection etc etc.

:) I'm not saying that water is going to cure everyone's bad breath. I am just providing information that could help some people whose bad breath is caused by not drinking enough water.

You are correct that bad breath is not really normal (except for morning breath, which is completely normal or getting bad breath after eating something like onions or garlic which is also normal). In fact bad breath is caused by some kind of abnormality, be it an illness, a disease, an infection, a condition, etc. But you also have to remember that not everyone's bad breath is caused by the same thing, therefore not every piece of information relating to bad breath is going to be applicable to you as an individual.

Again, you are speaking about your own experience. Drinking plenty of water did not solve your problem with bad breath which is unfortunate, but some people truly don't drink enough water per day and they have no idea that they are not drinking enough water per day. It's to those people that this information might be of value.

If Candida and fungal infections were the only cause of bad breath then you would be correct in your statement. However clearly there are more causes to bad breath than just those two things. For starters having a condition known as dry mouth can lead to bad breath. Poor digestion can lead to bad breath. Being in a constant state of stress can lead to bad breath. Drinking adequate water has been shown to reduce or eliminate all of those possible causes.
