Raw food is not a cure for bad breath.
Human beings are omnivores. That means we are designed to eat just about anything. Most human beings on the planet Earth eat cooked food, but don't have bad breath. So obviously it is not the cooking of the food that produces bad breath.
Chronic bad breath means there is something wrong in the body somewhere. If you can find out what that problem is and eliminate it, then you wouldn't have bad breath no matter what you eat or whether it is cooked or not.
The hand we are dealt is fate. How we play the cards is free will.

I think anyone who decides to try a raw diet should try a low choline diet first, along with taking charcoal and probiotics and whatever else is supposed to help to deodorize and absorb bacterial by-products inside the gut (such as TMA, which we all produce)

Raw food could be a cure for bad breath if you happen to have a type of TMAU and the type of diet you try is one that is low in choline (as a raw diet would tend to be?).

Apart from this, I cant imagine what a raw diet is meant to achieve, apart from leading to health repercussions that can lead to bad breath from other causes.

A Raw diet might also improve things if you have certain food allergies or intolerance to things like gluten or dairy. Depends what foods you end up eating of course. And this is also assuming that helicobacter/parasites/hypochlorhydria/ have been ruled out and that you do not have thyroid/kidney/liver issues which could be going unnoticed.

And, if you are healthy, then like everyone else you'll have candida and other fungi living harmlessly in/around your body. You wont "have candida" because everyone "has candida" except if you give it the opportunity to overgrow on your genitals or other external areas by various means. If you have anything wrong with you that might be allowing candida to affect your internal organs, then you'll tend to have many other serious health issues behind this, with bad breath generally being the least of your concerns.

...... Never know until you try guys. After talking with Malory ,I say its hard to do a TMAU raw diet. Not impossible though. Raw is hard enough for most .
A low choline diet can lead to some big health issues down the road of course . But yes, low choline is easier than rolling hardcore Raw for most folks .

Like Hali-sux says , raw can be a way to fixing BB from many angles .Whether inadvertently cutting wheat gluten or dairy or some other food allergen thats not in a raw diet . Also a proper raw diet can just create health and help the body put itself back in balance .

It would be interesting if anyone who is able to bring their BB under control with a raw diet, then gradually introduces choline into their diet. Choline supplements are available so you wouldnt need to eat any foods with choline that would interfere with the raw diet. If your breath then worsens then it could be an important clue.
If not, you could then gradually introduce other possibilities like foods containing gluten or dairy to try to pinpoint the potential problem food and then if you manage to find out what it is you'll know what foods to avoid and what not to avoid.
