Hi.

I have been suffering from bad breath since high school and I am now a 30-year old married woman.
I have been a lurker of this site as well... I know for a fact that I have tonsil stones as I have been poking my tonsils. I could get some yellowish-foul-smell thing from it. No one has ever told me that I have bad breath. But I could sense this from their reactions whenever I talked to them.

This condition is so frustrating and depressing as well. My husband is aware of it and doesn't complain about it. However, it is affecting my job, social life and engagement with other people and business leads.

I have consulted different EENT; those who will just see my tonsils from their small mirror and those who have cameras to really focus on my tonsils. But none of them have actually seen the yellowish stones from my tonsils. They told me that there isn't any on my tonsils and I am just reading too much from the internet. Hence, no one has suggested me to go for Tonsillectomy...

I am now going for another specialist this end of October and hopefully, I could get recommendation on removing my tonsils. It has been my problem for more than two decades now.

Btw, I have tried TheraBreath, it doesn't work. I have tried to gargle water with salt every now and then, but my breath still stinks.

Hi Allz..

I just want to share some sentiments...

Everytime I'm attending a conference, I'm too shy to talk to people.. i don't want them to be close to me and smell my breath. I know some of my colleagues are talking behind my back regarding my bad breath. But i don't know how to explain myself... whenever I think of this, it makes me cryyyyyyy. It is so depressing that I think, i'm an extrovert person hidden behind this introvert mask. I like talking to people.. do u also experience that whenever you didnt talk in the office for two-three hours, my mouth would feel like it's hot and i know that my breath is in the highest stink level. So embarassing...

Right now, i feel like something is blocking my throat, it is so uncomfortable..

I experience that all the time, in my case even after just 1 hour my mouth feels dry and hot already, even with candy stuffed in there! I can stink up a bus since I have nasal BB, and the smell lingers in the air too. I have given up hoping to be cured since the cause of my BB is bacterial imbalance. Now that is hard to cure! How can you manipulate the good bacteria to fight the bad bacteria, right? Probiotics didn't help at all.

I been suffering half my life of this curse. And it really ruined my life. I tried many many tricks, supplements, medicine etc.. But still no effect. I always have this pnd, sticky saliva, white coating on tongue and passing gas more than usual. I want to share my whole story but I'm too lazy to type long message so i'll cut it short....recently I've done enema. Coffee enema alternately with plain water enema. I do enema 3-4 times a week. I bought water bottle and syringe from mercury drug for 300 pesos then I watched YouTube videos on how to do enema. And i can tell you i has helped me a lot. It dislodged and flushed out the toxin. I have discovered enema when i underwent surgery year 2015. Prior to my surgery they done me an enema as sop for surgery. It really cleanse my colon. Why I'm saying these things? Because the root cause of bad breath is toxin. Toxins produces sticky subtance. Based on my personal experienced my bb started back in my teenage years during that time I wasn't regularly deficating coz i was scared..sometimes worms emerges in my anus. It was my practice for two years. I wasn't aware then that irregular defecation would give me halitosis. Sonever never restrain from defecating. Enema has do wonders. I'm currently taking protexin balance i also purchased from mercury. It helps me I can't tell yet if I'm totally cured i just started yesterday.

So many people in Philippines?

@straw, I used to have constipation when I was a teen too. I had worms (large and alive, passed out a log of worms with little if any poop) twice when I was very young. Currently, my poop tends to be a little on the hard side and I go every 1 to 3 days. Please report back if it works.

No. It happened when I was very young, long before I had BB problem. Maybe will look into it after I finish trying HCL tablets for a week or two.

yes I've tried purgative tablet and liquid form I do it once a year...deworming but no worms on poop. it was only when I was a kid that spaghetti like emerges lol. not regularly defecating has really bad effect. up to this day I'm still taking probiotic protexin balance. the bb reduced i rub the back most of my tongue with face towel in the morning and smell it. to know if my breath stinks. and really the smell reduced. its not yet totally eradicated I observed that the bb attack 4 hours after I brushed or when its almost lunch then the rest of the day I'm free of it. . this is for now....

Hey, taga-Laguna ako guys. (Rin dati yung username ko kaso nalimutan ko password.)

My symptoms nga pala:

- constant clear mucus sa may throat, not opaque white, not yellow, its clear taste a bit salty, its there almost 7 years already
- globus (lump feeling)
- fecal bb (oral and nasal) but no body odor
- constipation
- lbm (when i eat dairy, peanut butter, mayo)

so far, the elimination diet (eliminating dairy, egg, beans, gluten is effective, kunwari 10 yung scale ng bb, mababawasan, magiging 7-6.5 na lang ganun). But recently, I was so stressed, ate everything I want, diet ruined, horrible breath as always.

But then again ulit, now I'm still trying ulit na bumababa yung bb level, kahit mga 6/10 lang please

Im using Human Nature's toothpaste, sls free mas better kesa closeup, colgate or whatever strong na toothpaste na nakakalala ng fecal breath. Soft dense toothbrush para sa tongue, my tongue turns back to pinkish color after cleaning it but whitish when i wake up.

I somehow manage stop eating Pancit Canton, lessen junk food (ang lala pag kumain ako ng Chippy, Nova, Piattos etc, number 1 yang pancit canton.) Pati orange juice, citrusy drinks, hamburger, spaghetti, nako po

i dont smoke or drink alcohol. i dont drink coffee too. i dont take medicines (particularly antibiotics) often, siguro once-thrice a year lang ako nakakainom ng gamot.

im starting again sa diet,

1. Low thiols
2. SIBO (Low Fodmap) pag nakaipon na ko pambili ng herbal supplements at probiotics, ang mamahal

(di ko kaya yung SCD at AIP diet, kailangan ko ng rice mga bes)

Too long na, sorry, walang gigive up okay!

I am a long time sufferer. Hard truth for us, there is NO cure. I lived a regretful life for so long until I decided & learned to accept my condition no matter how embarrassing. I tried everything I could try, no cure. I am tired of getting a fix. All I can do now is maintain positive oral hygiene. I am 35 years. Had this prob since I was a little boy but thats life for us. If anyone wants to talk email me @
