Finally, I had my tonsillectomy

i had my tonsils and adenoids removed, deviated septum corrected last friday. this is day 5 for me and so far the pain isn't as bad as i thought it would be. i only have amoxicillin for my antibiotics and oxycod for my pain (which is not helping a lot since i vomit every time i take them). the only thing that irritates me is the feeling that something is stuck in my throat!i can eat soft egg and pasta since day 2 though. i keep on coughing but the doctor told me not to take lozenges as this would irritate my throat even more. im just hoping that this is the cure!thanks!

Hello folks,

Any update on how your tonsillectomy went, I am now day 17 and i see some improvement, my family see some aswell..........also my tongue is a lot pinker than it was previously!
