UNSURE ABOUT SEEING DR. KREPSI......

Post by lolalola »

Ok so I set up an appt with Dr. Krepsi because God knows I will do anything to get rid of this curse but is it me or in the interview with Jimi didn't he seemed evasive??? Most of the breath specialists always seem so arrogant and i just don't trust them. Most of my bb I feel comes off my tongue as it never tastes clean and is always getting coated white and tastes like spoiled milk all the time. I am annoyed that laser treatment is not done on the tongue. To be honest with you, I would give up my sense of taste if it meant I could get rid of the bb! I am so scared that he won't be able to help me. I am also worried that if I go through with the whole procedure and blow 3 grand what if my bb will still be there!
Also I have not heard if there is anyone who was cured by this except one person who is on the site.
So stressed out, should i still go? It is very expensive but more importantly I am not emotionally ready for another failed treatment.

I’m just going to be frank and honest, don’t bother with these specialist that claim they can help. All they are going to do is offer you Therabreath or some sort of mouth wash that contains "chlorine dioxide".

Just a waste of your time and money, we need a cure I don’t know what form this cure will come in weather its a tablet we take daily or a monthly injection, but that’s what we need. Not no mouth wash or toothpaste.

Krespy is not a ¨bad breath specialist¨, is an ent, so he has more credentials that those people....

But, according to our experience, the laser treatment is quite the same that doing a regular tonsillectomy, that will cost you more cheaper....

If you had your tonsils and they are producing tonsil stones, you should get a tonsillectomy or the laser, cause it will gonna reduce your bb in some level.....

But it doesn´t need to be Krespy, just a good Ent is ok.....

To get my tonsils lasered i think it reduced my bb in maybe a 30% i guess.....

good luck

Now that you have 30% reduction, where do you suspect the other 70% originates from? Was it really worth it? Or do you have the same lifestyle as before surgery?

I had a tonsillectomy, and it didnt do anything to change my breath.

My breath is still as bad as it has always been, then only thing that the op helped with was geting rid of those nasty tonsil stone.

yeah, in my case it worht it, i don´t reget for it. Another beneffit was that i use to have ¨anginas¨ like two or three times per year (i don´t know the word in english, is when your tonsils are inflamed and you have flu and your throat hurts when you swallow...) and since the treatment i never got it again....

In terms of lifestyle.....i´m not sure, but yeah, i think i´m doing more things than before..... before i used to make more excuses to not do certain things or go to some events.....no i´m better....but i can´t say that i´m sure that is only for the tonsileectomy.....

This illness is sooooo psicologycal, i think we all have psicologycal scars for being victims of some level of mental abuse regarding our bb, so it´s hard to carry on this problem more that it should be, at least sometimes.....

Sometimes im very paranoid, sometimes not, but i try to stay positive and enjoy my life regardless the problems i have the best that i can....

But next month when i´ll be with more time i will start to go to a psycologist to talk more about this problem and all this stupid trauma and try to make not such taboo of this thing....

hope to helps to get more peace of mind....

good luck

I don't see how a psychologist can help you, unless you are only suffering from halitophobia.

As long as you have the stink, you will also be an outcast. Having someone tell you that it's all in your head or that it's not important won't change that.

Still, it would be nice just to talk to someone about it.
But what if they can't stand you? Imagine pouring your heart and soul out about your bb problems and it's effect on you, all the while the person you're talking to can't wait to get the hell out of there.. Aren't the best people to talk to those of us who share your problem?
