how much to have a tonsillectomy?

I think its better n cheaper to go for Tonsillectomy with insurance....U can get a Good insurance for about 500$/sem
from your school...what do u think?

but our school do not provide such good insurance, the only choice is GHI for $665.10 per 3 months, which also subject to an eleven-month waiting period for pre-existing conditions. I don't know if this tonsillectomy would be defined as a pre-existing condition.

Without any insurance at all you could be looking at paying up to $2000-3000. It certainly isn't going to be less than $1200-1500 at minimum.
