Saliva smell and lick the wrist

Hi all, yes another saliva question

do normal people's saliva have absolutely no smell? when i lick my wrist and let it dry it absolutely stinks...and i'm wondering how bad that saliva smell translates to bb

also, while i dont usually have a taste in my mouth, does that mean if i kiss someone they'll be able to "taste the smell" from my saliva? i know that sounds weird, but you konw what i mean...
