Vitamin b12 to counter smell from PND/perhaps other areas

Post by hello »

Guys vitamin b12 helped me in taking away the smell from PND...vit b12 is responsible for formation of red blood smells...deficiency can occur due to type of food preparation... it can perhaps also help in lowering bad breath in the mouth too?...

B12 is the only thing that has ever helped me with my coating on my tongue. I had to take it for 2 months straight before I noticed a difference. I think the odor is alot better but it's not gone. But it is so nice to not have all that gunk on my tongue!

I am experiencing memory loss for a few months, it's probably due to B12 deficiency.

Yesterday I went to see ENT and GI specialist. ENT doc told me that I had no tonsil stones, no inflammation, nothing. To be honest he didn't convince me, cause he had no explanation to my sore throat.

GI doc was much better, he asked for some tests first and offered to start a treatment based on the test results. If the treatment won't cure my BB, he agreed to go for endoscopy in a few weeks.

Anyway I checked the test results from the hospital's website, it says: HELICOBACTER PYLORI ANTIGEN - POSITIVE. I guess that is good news. Gonna see the doctor in a few hours.

Hi,

Is this some separate B12 vitamin supplement as I take a B multi regularly and it has no effect (well things are getting progressively worse anyways)

I take 500mcg. You can get it at Walmart if you are in the states. You put it under your tongue and let it dissolve.

I had a B12 test, reference values are 211-911, mine is 211. Doc said that pills would take too long to show improvements, so I'm getting vitamin B12 shots today. Hopefully it will help with the coating on my tongue.

How long did it take for you to feel the effects of B12?

I have read it could take a couple of months.

I have started taking 1000mcg per day but in a swallowed tablet form. Couldnt find the sublingual form in my store.

Vitamin B12 is essential for keeping nerves and red blood cells healthy. What in the world does that have to do with bad breath?
