Cured...!

Post by Future_is_bright »

Hello friends,
I am 28, male, suffering from this BB for the past 17 years.
And I am HAPPY to tell you that I have found the CURE. \:D/
Really friends, it's NOT Rocket Science...!! It's very simple!

I used to get tonsilolith almost daily in the past, when I was 16 -17. Later, the frequency got decreased, but people still showed signs of bad-breath. In 2011, when I was 26 / 27, it went to the peak. Though I didn't get tonsil stones, people started showing signs when I just entered room; that shows it's horrible strength. Now that I have found cure, it's not that I am totally cured, but 2 hours of fresh breath after a heavy meal is guaranteed.

Reasons for Bab-breath
----------------------------------
1. Stress : This is the number one factor I have found affecting my breath. When I am stressed, or anxious or tensed, my BB level shoots up. Don't know the exact reason, but stress causes dry mouth, which might in turn causes BB.

2. Food
Limit the following food below a certain level. Though I wont suggest to completely avoid it.
1. Oil rich food
2. Sweet/sugar
3. Bakery items
4. Junk food like bread, pizza, burger
Have plenty of warm water (not too hot) immediately after food, which helps cleansing. Don't drink too hot water, as it will damage taste buds in tongue and cause dry mouth.
Drink a glass of normal water every hour. (and not frequently)
Have heavy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Avoid snacks in between. Increase the intake of vegetables. Avoid raw eggs or boiled eggs. Decrease the amount of peanuts and the likes. Don't drink too much milk. Can have tea, followed by water (after 5 minutes. Tea is sweet. Water will help to cleanse mouth and throat). Avoid late night tea. Coffee is found to be more dangerous than tea (atleast to me)

3. Exhale/Inhale air through mouth before speaking to anyone.
This will help you to remove the foul air which is caught in the mouth, and will prevent in passing it to other's nose.

4. Brush teeth twice a day.
Brush as soon as you wake up, and just before going to bed. I prefer Colgate/Pepsodent. Gel toothpastes are not effective. Scrap tongue gently.

Practise these simple steps and you will find improvement in 2-3 months. Live free. Celebrate each and every moment. Talk to your best friend face-to-face frequently which will bring confidence first, stress-free life next, and finally a life, free of bad-breath. :-({|=

I think this post is pretty vague in how and why its helpful for bb aside from the obvious brushing . You mention you aren't cured yet despite the headline :"cured! " . We see this far too often in this forum and we need members to start using their heads before shouting "cured!" or "everyone ...try this now to fix Your bb!" .

Hello...
This comes from a person who had 100% bad breath all the time. Now I can speak confidently to anyone after a heavy meal, for 2 hours. That's what I meant by, 'cured'. Everyone in this world has bad breath, everyone smells like shit when they wake up in the morning, before they brush something and have breakfast.
I have tried several antibiotics as seen in this forum long back, but they only made the problem worse... I have tried almost every method I saw in this forum, but to tell the truth, they all made my breath shittier.
Then I thought, why don't I live the life of a normal person.
Then I started the routines of a normal person, but avoided certain foods (as I mentioned in the previous post) and observed other routines mentioned above, rather than going for expensive medicines or absurd methods. I am improving as the days pass. Now I have 2 hours of guarantee period,3 months back it was just an hour, and 6 months back, I had BB even after 10 minutes of heavy meals. In 2011, I had BB even just after having heavy meals.

It is vague. But it helps.
Thanks.

HALITOPHOBIA! CANT MOST OF YOU FIGURE IT OUT AND FINALLY ACCEPT WHAT CAUSES YOUR BB! people without halitophobia do not think this way, do not stress about their breath, do not try to figure out its cause, they simply live, they realize that breath depends on many things...the original poster of this thred will be "cured" once he/she stops fearing or thinking someone smelling their breath, and especially once they do not come to this site any longer!!!! because there will no longer be any constant thinking of BB! wake up! it will take time for your body to turn normal though...people have done it, you have to deal with your social phobia along with your halitophobia! doctors will continue telling you its in your head, but they do not care to tell it in details, but it all has merit to it. only someone who has gone through it all will try to help you! stop wasting your life! i was one of you, and i care to tell when im here once in months. sadly most of you will be offended and think that its bs....your bb will be gone once you stop caring and thinking about it. and once you truly believe there is NOTHING wrong with you! so long, until i peak in here again!!

Not trying to shit on this thread but you're saying if someone has a toilet mouth that if you just stop caring it will go away?

Life isn't that kind or easy. Whether I'm feeling great or like shit I still have BB.

It isn't easy to forget about with all the trauma, humiliation and isolation us chronic halitosis suffers have gone through.
Tonsillectomy - Check
Sinus CT Scan - All Clear - Check
Dentist Examination - "Gums very good" - Check
Endoscopy - Check - H Pylori Negative
Post nasal space cyst removed - Check
Wisdom Teeth Extraction - Check
Mouth Swab Clear - Check

Can we just accept that SOME people actually do falsely believe their breath smells when it DOESN'T?

And those very people will have as much reason to believe they have bad breath as anyone else possibly could do.

There can be complex psychological reasons for this, which in turn only further add to the reasons why that person believes their breath smells, such as the manifestations of the stress of worrying (dry mouth, awful taste, poor digestion, perspiration, etc).

The fact is, no matter what we see or hear or smell, we can never be certain whether we have bad breath or not. The only thing we can be certain of is when people we absolutely trust tell us our breath smells bad. We can't trust anyone to tell us it doesn't smell bad.

So let's please try to respect every opinion and reasoning, because the very nature of this BEAST is that nothing is certain.

You are right!
i'm sure more than 75% of members here are sever case of halitophobia and I do not suppose it, this what i'm heard from famous specialists, yes between us there are ppl 100% badbreath free and they just suffers from fetal degree of halitophobia and needs psychiatric treatment or this can affect their life and without psychiatric treatment no one can help them other than God's mercy because they refuse to believe that and they have high ability to falsifies facts and convince themselves with what they want to believe. you can't imagine the number of ppl who go to doctors and complain from aggressive BB and some of them engage in tears since they are bad breath free and when the doc and his assistants telling them that they don't smell any BB, they start analysis the reactions and doubt of the honesty, yes some doctors have atrophic sense of smell but if 4 ppl on the same table told you the same and some of them are youngs so, some thing is wrong! i have friends who are young doctors and they are assistants for bright names specialists and i know what i'm telling you.
Even us, i have a part of halitophobia and i think most of you too as a reaction for the long term stress that we deal with but our kind is different, our kind related to the distance, yes we have BB and strong BB but not that strong as we think, believe me your case is Your case is much lighter than you think, i remember some fantastic cases for ppl think that their BB travels from doors and windows to affect them neighbors and they don't want to change the personal conviction!! i think if your have dead dog in your home, its smell will be unbelievable but i don't think it will through the windows and cross street to overstep your neighbors homes and make them cough!!!

By the way, me i'm under antidepressants (this is 6th week) and things are very well, the improvements are in all my life quality not just my BB for the 1st time in my life i got a very deep sleeping with COMPLETE dreams, then i can remember the events in the morning and this is the most fantastic noticing, regular defecation with normal strength of the stool, not excessive sweating, remarkably calm and stability, bb free 95%, this is gradually improvements and i'm under the test period, So, take care of stress and you all give it a huge care...
Best Wishes :)

There is a guy at work who has bb. Today at work I had to work with with him for a few hours, sometimes distance was no longer than 30 cm. It was really bad, if I could scale it I would say 8/10. I cannot comment on my bb since I cannot smell it. I did what most people do, tried to ignore it and act if nothing is wrong. What troubles me is that this guy has utmost confidence. He is good with everyone, joking around all the time. He is a very happy person, has a fiancee.

When I need to speak to someone I try to face my mouth down or sideways or move away from that person then talk. But this guy does NOT care at all. I must say I am impressed and really confused. Maybe it's our personality that is holding us behind. Maybe it's all about being able to say "f*ck it" and live our own lives.

I am even more sad now. I have suffered for years and will keep suffering for many more while this guy probably has worse bb yet he is truly happy. I cannot eat most of the stuff that I like, I cannot drink even with my friends yet he eats and drinks whatever he wants. I don't envy him, I just wish I didn't care about others this much and live my own life like he does.

I've always envied people with BB who are seemingly oblivious to it. Some of them must know it without letting it affect their lives. I just don't know how though.

My mum had BB and was like that, and I know that even if people told her about it, she wouldn't change one bit. She was very wholesome and something like this would never take up much of her thoughts or time. It's not like she didn't care what people thought, but maybe she just grew up during a time when such things would have been quite irrelevant and being a stinker would have been quite normal.

I had an uncle with BB too. He was very handsome and dressed impeccably all the time and always looked fantastic and always had tons of aftershave on. Because he took so much pride in his appearance, it's like the BB didn't matter at all, even if you got it squarely in the face. He lived his life to the full, had mistresses all over the place and women worshipped him. Confidence is everything as they say

I just love it when you have a serious problem and someone (especially a doctor) tells you it's all in your head.

****ing troll. What sort of schlemihl would come here and stomp all over the faces of people suffering. The Mods should banish this peckerhead to the involuted bedlam one encounters monumentally at the Cure Zone website.

Recovered..!

Post by Future_is_bright »

Hello friends,

Thanks for your responses. Want to share a happy news with you that I got engaged recently. I met my fiancee yesterday. We had a very close chat for around an hour and she never showed any BB signs. We even kissed! Never in my lifetime I imagined that I could ever marry due to my bad-breath(BB).

This confirms my assumption that stress and bad-food are the main reasons for BB. I was not at all stressed yesterday. I was infact thrilled. I had food 4 hours before meeting her. I had warm tea also, followed by water after sometime. I drank water every hour, and not frequently. In short, I was totally cool yesterday, and didn't worry about BB at all.

So friends, let me summarise:
1. Be cool. Don't get stressed, tensed or anxious about anything.
2. Have normal food, don't go for medications. It may take time to regain the normal breath; be positive.

Regarding halitophobia, I guess halitophobia causes bad-breath, due to increased stress.
And regarding PND: I could hardly find any correlation between PND and bad-breath. I had high BB even when I didn't have PND unlike others claim. Sometimes I didn't have any BB when I had high PND and sinus problems. I have noticed one thing: When I masturbate many times, I experience nose-block without any mucus or phlegm. And to tell you the truth, I could NOT find any correlation between masturbation and bad-breath(This applies to men)

So friends, be cool. Don't worry about BB. Have normal food. Dance, Sing and Enjoy. It will take time to regain fresh breath if you are suffering now, but you will definitely recover one day.

Cheers!

I think your problem is like the case I had acne before.
I had certain kind of bacteria on my face but taking antibiotics didn't help. And after I consumed fatty foods,... the acne grows very much. So I had to limit certain kinds of food to control this but not completely cure. And then I used some cream (antibacteria one) on my face and the bacteria died forever and no matter food I ate, there was no acne anymore. So your tonsolith.. + bb may be caused by a certain kind of bacteria which is different from us.
