Dr Paulose from India

Hi, may I know anyone of u ever heard of Dr Paulose from India? Just saw his surgery video from YouTube. Really think to fly to India to look for his consultant. Any advise? Thanks in advance~

Oh yeah im looking for a review too!! Iv seen d videos long back..not sure of d results, but felt he atleast listens n tries various options.. N i felt he was initially just like other doctors who wouldnt believe non oral causes of BB.thanks to that first bb patient who convinced d doctor with his tremendous learning from d forums. Couple of mnths back a person from d forum booked an appoinment vit him, but have'nt turned bck to d forum since then..eagerly waiting for her n im from india n i discovered him once i came out of india, my bad hope il make a visit on my next trip,but dat can only b next year

As far as I know he only does tonsilotomy. What more can s ENT specialist do.

Is medical fee expensive in India for foreigners?

Medical Fee in india should'nt be expensive to the westerners, given that you are converting your dollars to rupees..But ofcoarse the flight ticket is
But i really donn know if foreigners would be charged separately, because these are all the private hospitals.
Or may b watch the videos, see the procedures he is performing, explain them to ur doctor and get them done.
I am in process of noting all the dental + ent related tests that i need to undergo. lemme put the list out once i do, though there should be nothing not known to u ppl here.
BTW , PND is the only symptom i face. And it does not trouble me in any way physically. Was told i have a deviated septum.

sorry for late repy. I am slo living out of country I arranged visit in my vacation yes I have visited dr paulose this april 12th . he checked my mouth throat blood ct scan of sinus etc. in my case he didn't find much he told me my tonsils are bad and pharygintitis and very lil sinus infection.

he removed my tonsils , sinus wash done. and also phaygintis exactly I don't know he used laser or not for that.

result as of now very less reactions. but still have bb I guess. but I feel nasal bb 80 percent gone. mouth bb still 50 percent is there m just waiting for few more months and observe and will mail dr paulose. he is very good doctor I would love to recommend people to go to him once those who hav bb .

Janet, can do a break down of his fees? Sinus wash? As in saline?

Hi there total for all test , surgery and hospital room charges around 40,000/- rupees comes it May depend upon ur type of treatment . There are less price room also but i took a/c one and with 3 beds as i had 2 people with me .

Hi sopo dr paulose will check all the posible reasons for B.B. . He is ent specialist he wil treat throat , sinus nasal mouth related problms and if he find anything other problms then he wil send you to related doc in their hospital . I am very happy that i met him he listen ti your problm and try to find out what is actualy causing the the B.B.

Hello Janet. Whats phaygintis? 40k is very cheap for a/c room !!!! My tonsilotomy and sinus surgery cost me 5 times more. Thanks.

hi sopo , pharygingitis is throat disorder. back of the throat bumps will b here and bcoz of that bb will b there , so it may b causing nasal and mouth bb, in that case he will see the throat and do laser treatment.

Just to confirm, that's a private hospital and you do not get any subsidy for being an Indian?

Can the doctor speak English?

Is it easy to find non-spicy food in India? I think spicy food worsen my BB.

Anyone else planning to go? Want to go together? We can take the opportunity to travel around India too.

i'd probably plan a visit in the next feb.
I could clearly see a lot of mucus in my sinus CT Scan. Not sure why other doctors just get rid of me with some simple medicines which never work! N BTW the CT Scan itself was taken only when i strongly insisted! And my prev doctors only checked the areas that i insisted! So better i'd do lots of research on What to ask the doctor and what to get checked! Nothing offensive of the doctors, since we dont experience any physical pain and its only the BB and the mental disturbances. Any surgery recommendations in these cases would damage the doctors reputation. So all we have to do is to show our pain, desperation and our learning to he doctors and convince them!
