what I learned in the last few years

Post by bluestar »

Let me tell you about myself first guys. I'm 44 years old male, living in NYC who suffered from bb since I was around 20 years old. By the way, English is my second language so please forgive my spelling and grammar errors.. When I was 20's bb wasn't so bad but I knew I had some issues. I remember I always had to carry gum with me all the time. But this bb problem got really bad about 10 years ago. At that time I had so much stress from work and I ate so much food at late night. I gained probably around 20 lbs at that time. Anyway, since then I started noticing that people are getting away from me when I was talking or even if I wasn't talking, people were rubbing, touching and sometimes covering their nose, Even though I knew that I had bb problems, I really didn't do much. But when I became 40, I finally reached to the point that I need to do something about it. So I decided to do anything to get rid of this nasty bb.

Before I talk about I did in last a few years, let’s talk about my bb itself. I know a lot of people here know what their bb is like but I can't really tell what it is. I couldn't really smell mine most of time. even if I smell it sometimes, it's hard to describe that smell. I didn't know it was coming from nose, throat (I did have tonsil stones), or stomach. Now that I look back, I think mine was coming from everywhere. the source of problems wasn't just one but it was multiple. I had tonsil stones (came out once or twice a month at one point), digesting issues, stuffy nose, yellow or white thick tongue coat, whenever I floss I smelled nasty stuff from floss string. But I just can’t describe clearly my own bb. I asked my wife (married for 13 years) and my kid (she is 7 now) but I couldn’t get clear description. My kid said a few times that I smelled like bad banana and my wife said sometimes strange smell from my body not just from my breath. But anyhow, it was strong and bad enough to keep people away from me.

1.Detoxification of my body

this was my first mission. I looked up and tried many different detoxification methods. I stopped drinking coffee, any kinds of alcohol, and sodas. If I thought that there was little bit of toxicity, I avoided them. But the bigger question was how to get rid of toxic that I already accumulated for a long time. The answer that I got was coffee enenam. I really do believe that this is the best detoxification method out there. It’s cheap and very effective. I do it almost daily and I can’t live without it.

I also tried many different types of fasting. I tried three day absolute fast (nothing, not even water), waster fast, intermediate fast (16 hours of empty stomach everyday). I tried eating only one meal a day ( I did that almost one year)

After heavy detoxification of my body, I lost around 40 lbs and I look much healthier and younger but the bottom line is it couldn’t get rid of bb. maby it got little better (maybe less than 10%) but bb was still there. So detox didn’t work for my bb.

2. Changing my diet

Second thing I did was changing my diet. I changed dramatically from eating whatever to all vegan diet. I stopped eating meat completely and then fish and eventually all dairy. I did this diet for almost three years (until very recently). there were some improvement (like 20%) but people were still rubbing and touch their nose when I was talking and staying away from me after 30 seconds conversion. So the bottom line is detox and changing diet wasn’t answer for my bb problem.

** tonsil stone did stop coming out at some point after I changed my diet but I still had bb so I guess tonsil stone wasn’t the main problem of my bb

3. Oil pulling

I started oil pulling two years ago and I’m still doing it every morning for 15 min. with coconut oil. I think of this as detoxification of mouth. It does feel fresh and I’m sure it does something but it couldn’t get rid of my bb

4. neti pot

I started neti pot about 6 months ago. I think it’s great way to clean yours nose area and I still do it everyday with warm water and sea salt. it does feel very clean but it couldn’t get rid of my bb

5. taking hot bath with baking soda, essential oils, and epsom salt

Instead of taking shower, I decided to take hot bath everyday. This is another cheap way to detox your body. My body felt much better however, bb was still there. My wife told me that my body wasn’t smell any more since I daily took this bath but then again my bb was still there

6. Drinking my own urine

I know this is very extreme but I was willing to try anything. Drinking your own urine supposedly fix many diseases including bad breath and make you very healthy. This is huge in Japan and India. I started this about a year ago, drinking first urine in the morning (about ¾ cup). It didn’t get rid of my bb but I never got sick since then.

7. MMS

Miracle Mineral Supplement, often referred to as Miracle Mineral Solution, Master Mineral Solution, or MMS, is a toxic solution of 28%[1] sodium chlorite in distilled water.

I tried this toxic solution for little bit (for mouthwash) but it didn’t work.

8. Chinese Medicine

I am asian so I’m very familiar to Traditional Chinese Medicine (eastern medicine). When it comes to chronic disease, TCM works much better than western medicine. This idea of TCM seemed like my last hope. Instead of just taking some Chinese herbs and get acupuncture treatments, I decided to actually study about it. So far the conclusion I came up after studying TCM was that my bb was coming from heat and dampness from my organs (most likely stomach, spleen or maybe surrounding area -- the way TCM looks organs is much different) So all my bad bacterias, fungus, and undigested food from stomach which has heat and dampness going on causing all these foul smells. So the solution for this problems was simply clearing heat and drain dampness. I took some chinese herbs (tired a few different kinds) and acupuncture treatments and right away (within 2 weeks) I started noticing the difference. My seven years old daughter (she is the only one who tells me the truth about my bb) said my breath was getting much better and I did notice that I can actually have a conversation more than a few minutes. This was huge step forward (feels like I made more than 70% improvements) however, people were still touching their nose from time to time when I’m talking, it was much less than before but I felt like some kinds of smell was still there. What is it? My thinking was if my body has been heated dampness environment for a long time, I probably have some kinds of fungus or some kinds of candida issues. I was fixing my body environment but I still had to clean up those garbage at the same time. Do I have fungus or some kinds of candida in my body? If then, how do I get rid of them?

9. Drinking baking soda and 4 teaspoons of coconut oil

The answer for fungus and candida problems were drinking baking soda (one tablespoon with warm water) and 1 tablespoons of coconut oil. My breath improved to 90% in next a few days. I think other 10% comes from metal side which it will probably take some times. I am still feeling very nervous when I have to talk to somebody in very close distance and that nervousness probably create dry mouth which leads to bb again. So this mental side of works needs to be managed but anyhow, I really feel like I finally win the battle.

here are the summary of my daily ritual:

1.start with coffee enema in the morning (I still think it’s the best way to detox)
2.during enema time, I do oil pulling for 15 min.
3.take morning portion of chinese herbs (clearing heat and draining demp one - there are many different kinds of combination so it’s best to talk to chinese herb specialist)
4.gagle with 3% hydrogen peroxide with tea tree oil before morning brush
5.at evening, take evening portion of chinese herbs
6.take warm bath with epsom salt, baking soda, and some essential oil
7.neti pot with ½ teaspoon of sea salt with warm water
8.drink one tablespoon of baking soda with warm water
9.one tablespoon of coconut oil before sleep

I hope that this will help some people out there. If there is any question let me know. I will help you guys as much as I can. And also, if my bb comes back again, I will let you know too.

thanks for pointing out about sodium. I didn't know that before. I will definitly think more about baking soda. What I can tell one thing fore sure is that my PH balnce of my body drmatically change (over night) from 6.25 to 7.25 after drinking baking soda water. I will look into more about sodium intake. thanks :)

one thing I want to say about sodium intake is that where I came from (I'm Korean) the salt is not bad thing. In fact, we used salt to brush our teeth, infactions, food preservation, and of course lot of salt in our diet. A lot of our food are salty, spicy and hot and yet, Korean food are generally known as very helthy food. In my opinion, we need to stop demonize salt intake (or sodium intake). So I would not worry too much about sodium level (although it is very high) in baking soda power. This is my initial thought so far on sodium level.
