Anyone else being laughed at in neighborhood?

Post by billie »

How do you deal with this? I have written about this before on this board. After all these years so many people know me as the girls who stinks. This is hurting me so badly. It ofcoarse started in highschool and it spread from there. The amount of stress that I have makes me forget things. Like I even forget what I was thinking of a couple of seconds ago. I go outside in the early morning to work and I work at night as well. I'm by myself each and everyday. Even on my birthday. I've been on this site for 11 freaking years!!!!!! ](*,)
My brother has always told me I don't have bad breath, but I know better. He's probably scared that I'm going to hurt myself if he tells me.

I've also seen memes online with my name telling me I stink. Can It get any worse?

I've been on a diet know for a week still see no change.

Yesterday the neighbors kids didn't wanna walk past me. The turned around when the saw me and waited for me to walk away. They are getting older so know they understand better. They used to talk to me contantly.

I'm sorry if I sound depressing. Can you guys tell me what your life looks like and if you are known as that smelly person?

Hi billie,

I can understand your pain and it’s so difficult for us having a problem that we can’t cure. I have had people say stuff to me when I was younger now I’m 36 so I’m more tactful. I won’t breath out when I’m up close to people and make sure I brush and scrape my tongue and take him before I engage in conversation. I even wear more perfume so that it will over power the bad breath smell. Why don’t u try having a conversation with the kids that ignored maybe they felt you ignored them- I do this sometimes when I know my breath might smell bad I ignore the people I know hoping they won’t speak to me. I limit my conversations and always come across as boring as I don’t want to offend anyone. It has really changed my personality and stopped me from being very social

Hi Sue,

I've been thinkin about it and I think your right. I sometimes don't look at the girl nextdoor to me. It's just that my breath is so damn bad, I just wanna get inside and not make any eye contact. So yes maybe that's why she doesn't say hi anymore. I don't know why these little things upset me, but they do. And I really know now that protein is to blame. I want to eat fruit but I'm so afraid of doing it. So I just need to figger some things out.

But yeah thank you for replying ;)

This started for me when I was 16 in high school. At the time I was starting to drink beer and liked socializing. Some people started calling me Drunk Skunk. I soon figured out I had this breath issue. But it gets better and there are things that make the smell subside. As far as a cure, some people have found it, I’m still working on it. But your not alone when it comes to people not understanding. I would recommend seeing a counselor or therapist.. remember, therapists can can actually referral you to specialists. It gets better.

Hello billie

I get the same reactions too. For more than 20yrs of bb, the news about me spread like wild fire. A very sad experience. I wish they had this disease too.
