Depends on what your problem is?

Someone I know didn't have a bad breath all their life.
Around the age 65, all of a sudden their breath would stink like poop. It was impossible to sit with him in the car.

Turns out, all their remaining few teeth were infected beyond repair. So his kids ask him to remove ALL of his teeth. And that's what he did.
Now he has a full denture set, and no bad breath at all.

But this is NOT our case.
Dentists can't fix our situation since the problem is in our bad genes.

There are many clinics who claim that they can fix the bad breath with 99% guarantee.
Did you notice, they always leave a small backdoor open with that 1%.

They will charge you a lot of money and put you in the category of that 1% that are not curable.

So if you have a Chronic Bad Breath problem due to bad genetic inheritance then don't waste time with a dentist to cure it.

You should continue visiting the dentists nonetheless for regular cleaning which will give you a good general health on your teeth but that's no cure for chronic halitosis. NO human can cure it.

I'm the only person in my family with bad breath. They just brush their teeth once per day and eat everything they like.

Even if it is genetic and there is no cure, I want to know for sure.

I am no expert but you probably don't have a genetic issue, which I personally think is a very good news, if true.
The studies done on patients with genetic mutation in our gene SELENBP1, had immediate family members with the same chronic halitosis problem.

The reason I say this is because Dr. Wevers noticed that ALL patients with genetic mutation under his research had immediate family members who had the chronic halitosis issue.

May be your problem is something else.

Do you get a DEEP cleaning of your gums every six month at a dentist clinic?

Yes, i do regular cleaning every six months. I don't have gum problem or tooth decay. I also undergone endoscopy because i thought i have stomach issue that cause me chronic bad breath. But its all cleared. I also went to ENT to seek explanation about my problem but they cant give me answer. My husband said my breath smells like poop. Other people can smell my bb even when 2 meters away. So i think its genetic?!

I know, this poop smell in breath is such a devastating curse upon us.

So, a user here stated that this probiotic enzyme helped them.
I am planning to pick it tomorrow and give it shot. 2 pills 15 minutes the meal I guess.
May be you can try too?

If no effect, I am going to use this one in conjunction.

Some people with type 1 tmau reported that they are the only one who stinks in their family.

There are also different types of genetic causes. It could be genetic, it could also be other causes. Only way to find out is to keep searching for the cause. Hopefully you have people to help you in this journey because it is not something you can do alone.

On the tmau cyber community, I am reading that some people are getting a good effect on your body odor by the continuous use of Kefir and kombucha.
