I've been using the breezecare oral gel to clean my tongue for many months now too and it's really good. I spread it over the surface of my tongue and as far back as I can, let it sit for few minutes, then scrape the tongue. And like you, I don't believe the tongue is the main source in my bad brea...

It's ok John, I know having this condition is the worst non-fatal illness you can have. The horrible impression you get from other people lower your self-esteem and thinking about it make you more depressed. Been there. You do raise an important point though. If you have a detection device, you shou...

H202

I don't think the H202 worked for me right now. I've recently used crest white strips for like 2 months straight. It has H202 so my bacteria has probably grown resistance to it. I don't know if this is just me or not, but I have like too holes at the back of my tongue that are in the center between ...

Thats exactly right. With breezecare's system if I use the mouthwash effectively for the first two days of the week then im pretty much set for that week because the probiotic will colonise my mouth. But if i dont drink enough watee, or drink alcohol or even smoke, then it pretty much fails. Its ha...

For god sake, save your money fellas! We keep on spending soo much money on all kinds of experimentations, remedies, mouthwashes, chlorophyll, netti pot, on and on. We know our breath stinks. It's pointless to take a reading every ten minutes to make sure the odor is still there. I read a few years...

Has anyone tried BreathAlert to detect their breath?

It's a device that cost around $30, but sold mainly via UK stores. Looks like a good investment for the money but I don't know how effective is it compared to the $1800 halimeter. Guess I'll be the first to try.

To Austuser and everyone else who had used mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide that worked for a few days, If you hadn't used it in awhile, then try this: clean off your tongue and use it again, and if your breath feels clean then probably most of the bacteria has been killed off. At this point start usi...

Good find austuser. Same thing happened to me when I first started using therabreath to clean my tongue. Everything worked out good for a day or two. Afterward, it gradually became worse. Like the bacteria know what you're doing and punishing you for getting rid of their relatives. If there's a way ...

Does eliminating gum disease helped anyone?

Gum disease: I don't see it mentioned on here a lot as a factor, but I'll tell my story here. I recently discovered that I had gum disease and my dentist suggested deep cleaning. Wow it actually worked better than I thought. I don't have the fecal smell in my saliva anymore and my gum doesn't bleed ...
