I also believe that the post nasal drip causing mucus to stagnate in the throat is a major cause of breath odor, but I don't understand how you use your thumbs to squeeze mucus out of the throat. Could you give us a better explanation?

At this time the sample is too small to reach any conclusion, but what we are seeing so far is that it appears the saliva itself does not have much of an odor, which would indicate that the source of the odor is something else in the mouth or throat. This is not surprising.

A psychologist can't fix bad breath. This is not a psychological problem; it's a physical problem.
