I'm hoping the tonsillectomy is my cure. I won't probably be getting it though until May when I'm of school. School's in the way and I don't want to be out for 2 weeks, because I'll have a lot of catching up to do.

I've also read about gum chewing a stomach problems, particularly stomach aches and even heartburn. I don't think there is a better alternative. Gum never helped me anyway. I just chew it so that I feel comfortable. When chewing gum, I've been told my breath smells like shit with a small hint of min...

Good luck, Mac. I truly hope this is your cure. Can't wait until I have it.

Ihatebadbreath, you carry so much negativity. You make post after post and in each one of them you sound miserable. Stop letting this disease consume you! Get out and enjoy a day for yourself. Try to focus on other things. If you carry the thought that you'll never be free from bad breath, then you ...

I think that many people who suffer from chronic bad breath and realize it, generally have healthier mouths than those who don't. The reason is, because we realize our breath smells, we are a lot more conscious of our oral hygiene and go through crazy regimens to free ourselves of our bad breath (so...

Went to the ENT yesterday and had him look at my tonsils. He said that they were infected, particularly the right tonsil, it's swollen, and that they needed to come to out. I also mentioned my bad breath and the two being connected and he said he wasn't sure, but my tonsils may be the culprit. I won...

I don't have any friends (there are a few I speak to now and then in college but no friends). When I was in middle and high school I had a few friends (even though I had BB). BB has taken over my social life a lot. I am still able to enjoy things alone though. I go to the movies, shopping, art museu...

I don't believe that. I fasted for 2 weeks on water alone (no food) and still got tonsil stones. We also eat food, not just consume liquids, so wouldn't tonsil stones feed on food too? I would think that food will be the greater cause of tonsil stones than liquid. We can't just live on water. Maybe ...

Sorry to hear it's not your wisdoms. At least it's something you can cross off your list and know that WHEN you do find out where your BB is coming from and you are cured, you at least know that you've eliminated their potential to cause you odour problems in the future. Have you considered your lu...

On the subject of BB possibly coming from the lungs, I just remembered that when I was about 11, I was told by my doctor that I had bronchitis and she gave me an inhaler. She said it was possibly due to cigarette smoke, as my mom is a heavy cigarette smoker. I remember one day around age 11, I ran a...
