Re: It’s Working - killing the bacteria!!!!

Glad it works for you. I really went deep into this sibo world and it being related to Methylation problems. I really think this forum needs to evolve and share gene mutations so we can find a common link. I’m a bit worried I’m not completely on the right path as very few people complain of halitosi...

Re: Maybe cured..

Been reading a lot of nolab post and also another user, mind space. I really think you guys are on the right track. I have come to the conclusion also that some of us have some gene defects in the cbs, suox, mtr, there is a bunch of them that I think when they mutate in such a way it creates a h2s i...

Re: Could these doctors be onto something?

Yes there are various causes of Chronic Halitosis. However, we have seen a common trend where taking oral antibiotics help temporarily for some of us. I also had this experience. IMO, this method of getting relief from BB does not cure the actual root cause of the problem, but it perhaps fights aga...

Re: lost for ideas

Just wanted to add this exert from a study I was reading... a lot of people are curious on here why we develop halitosis and certain ages around puberty time. I don’t think ch4 is the cause but it’s interesting how we develop different levels of gas production in our gut at various ages... food for ...

Re: lost for ideas

My sibo test was negative but I registered a peak in lactulose h2 of 130 ppm I haven’t seen any results online that high I dunno if it’s linked to bb I had the SIBO test done a few months ago and while my hydrogen reading was low/normal, the methane reading was very high at 98 ppm. Person doing the...

Re: My story/update.

Bismut salts easy catch sulfur family gases in the mouth or gut. Metronidazole (Flagyl) inhibits anaerobic bacteria that can produce sulfur family gases Dont advise to use both more than ~1 week or so. Thanks doc, I will say in 15 years, pepto bismol is the only thing that has given me relief. I ca...

Re: lost for ideas

Update: It's been over six months since I finished my course of antibiotics (Rifaximin + Neomycin) after testing positive on the Sibo test. My bad breath is still reduced from what it was. Some days it isn't even there. It's been an excellent result. This is after having bad breath for over 15 year...
