Hi guys, like many of you, I suppose, I have often read stories of people claiming to be cured of halitosis after experiencing something that is absolutely not believable to us. The same can be said for someone who reports being healed after a surgical procedure. There are very few, and it is never ...

Hi Dr. Murat, I have two questions. 1)Is there some study about effectiveness of nasal in rinse on halitosis type 2? I mean simple rinse with saline solution. Have you ever tested someone after and before a nasal rinse? 2) C-reactive protein test, if negative or positive, can give some clue about ha...

Hi Dr. Murat, today I remembered something that happened months ago. I was in the pharmacy. I saw one of those candies that promise to freshen the breath from the stomach after eating smelly foods. I bought them without thinking too much, to try them out. I remember I was in the office, in a large r...

While waiting for Doctor Murat to answer you, you can read his comparison on some mouthwashes. The best is Halitosil Zn. The formula is from Dr. Murat. He doesn't sell mouthwash, and he doesn't make money from it. Unfortunately it is not sold outside of Turkey. https://www.researchgate.net/publicati...

I need an advice. Since I was 10 I have had bad breath and have always had a bad taste in my mouth. Now that bad taste is gone, ever since I've done these things: 1) I use a soft-bristled manual toothbrush instead of an electric toothbrush 2) I improved my tongue brushing technique, brushing gently ...

Dear Dr. Murat, I have carefully read both books available on his site. I know it's not written for patients, but for doctors, but it was a reading that heartened me. It helped me in thinking halitosis/bad breath as a solutionable issue. I really liked, and I really appreciated, the ethical and scie...

Very interesting. I will buy it and read it. Dr. Murat, I want to share a personal consideration with you. This forum, and also your forum in Turkish (I read it using google translate) is full of people who tell they have lost hope of finding the source of their halitosis / bad breath. On the other ...

You have tried so many things. Maybe, too much things. The only thing I would suggest you is to go to Adana, in Turkey, to be examined by Dr. Aydin Murat. He doesn't heal halitosis bad/breath but he could give you some clue about its origin. You, as every of us, don't need to try a cure, taking medi...

Dear Dr. Murat, I have another question for you :) We know that halitosis has many possible causes. Some of them are really common. So the question is, why do some develop bad breath and others don't? For example: concha bullosa is a very common anatomical variant. But it rarely causes bad breath. W...

Hi Telpar, Very good questions again. Thank you. As a general rule for the chemical formulation of each mouthwash used for halitosis: 1- lesser chemical is better. More indrigent is more problem 2- Only these 4 zinc compound is effective on halitosis - zinc acetate - zinc gluconate - zinc chloride ...
