Re: Vitamin/mineral defiency?
Thanks for your comment. I do believe it is result of bacteria for sure. I also believe that we have a genetic vitamin/mineral deficiency of something that allows this bacteria to grow out of control. I have it, my older son, my mother, and her father all suffer from halitosis. For a minute, I did c...

Vitamin/mineral defiency?
I am sure this has been thought of or discussed before but I am wondering if the halitosis experienced by some is as simple as being deficient in a vitamin/mineral. I just recently watched a youtuber talk about how she always has fresh breath even when waking up. She said she discovered it by accide...

Re: Carbs temporary cure?
Yes i have that too. Whenever i eat my bad breath dissapears for a bit of time. Whenever i need to be close to someone i always snack on something like pretzels to keep the smell out my mouth. But as soon as i finish eating, the bb returns about 30 mintues later. Sometimes the bb stays gone for a co...

Re: Supervised Elimination Diet... list of allowed foods
I am assuming this diet is probably helpful only for folks who developed bb later on in life. Those who have suffered since childhood probably would not benefit at all from this diet. I say that because my 2 kids developed bb during infancy when they consumed milk only. I have had bb since as early ...

Re: is it BB or GALL BLADDER DISEASE?
Maybe for some but I don't think that's the case for those of us who have had bb since childhood. In my case, my mother and her father and 2 of my children have bad breath. And I'm sure it goes back further. The 2 kids of mine with bad breath developed it soon after birth...I would say I started not...

Re: Finally BB Free!!!
I was actually about to make a post similar to this. What I have concluded is that my halitosis is caused by excessive bad bacteria. And yes it is hereditary. For whatever reason, my body doesn't have the tools needed to get rid of these bacterias the way it does it others who don't have halitosis. ...

It really is bacteria in most cases...I think
I have always heard and read that most cases of halitosis was caused by bacteria, but I always thought my bad breath had a different origin. Considering that my mother, her father and my two sons both have it, I felt almost certain bacteria was not the cause. Felt as though we must have some gene de...

Re: My bb is 100% heriditary
Thinking back into my early teens, I was once in a swimming pool with my elder brother. He wasn't too far from me (about 5 feet) as he emerged from under the water and release a large breath as he was holding it under the water. And the gush of bad odor hit my face. IN OUR PARTICULAR CASE OF BB, I ...

Re: TMAU Halitosis???
Well guys today was my first day trying the diluted bleach rinse and I must say I'm impressed. I feel like my breath is about 75% more neutral/fresh. If today is any indication of what this rinse will do for my breath long term, than I feel like a happy camper. I will continue using the rinse daily ...

TMAU Halitosis???
I am sure this has been asked or talked about before but does anyone have any insight on whether some forms of halitosis is a variation of TMAU that affects the breath only? In my case, the rest of my body hygiene is normal. I don't produce any pungent odors any where else other than my mouth. Just ...

My bb is 100% heriditary
Ok so I have been reading through these forums for years and now finally posting my story. I have had bb since I was a small kid. My mother has horrific bb and I got it from her. Prior to me having kids of my own, it never really occured to me that it was a genetic disorder. I guess I assumed it was...
