Re: What's wrong with my tongue?

Ok, I usually discount digestive sources of bb unless strong evidence otherwise. Your tongue looks like it has the typical biofilm of sufferers of intra-oral bad breath. Ver similar to mine, actually. Unless you also have periodontal disease, I suspect smelly off-gases of oral bacteria, mostly on th...

Re: Oravital? The cure for halitosis?

@ Hoodlumhoe No, but I’ve spoken with Dr Hyland on Zoom and I think if (and only if) the problem is intra-oral VSCs, then I think his approach is sound. My own case seems under decent control, so I’m not sure if I’m gonna spend the money. Still thinking about it, but it’s a better approach than lase...

Re: Bad breath caused by hypothermia?

@ HereAmINow

Dry mouth doesn’t necessarily go with a white coating on the tongue. Yes, often, but not necessarily.

Re: Dr. Jorgen Slots, USC

@ telpar Thanks very much for your reply. Yes, a detailed abstract, but unless one knows what to look for it could take hours to sort out the useful information, so thanks for saving me hours of mind-bendingly boring reading. Several proprietary mouthwashes that contain zinc chloride and other zinc ...

Re: CURED SOMEWHAT PLEASE READ

This proves again that bad breath is purely a bacterial issue. You think that it was a stomach issue, but it's just a bacterial imbalance in your mouth-throat. I started having the worse kind of bad breath which is fart breath coming out from mouth and nose. And guess what, this fart breath started...

@ telpar
It doesn’t help much to link research papers without detailed context. What exactly were you attempting to point out in that paper?

Re: Bad breath caused by hypothermia?

I cannot make sense of your details unless cold air gives you dry mouth. I’ve experienced knockdown bad breath from extremely dry mouth, brought on by marijuana smoke.

@ telpar Quote: “In my humble opinion, if a persona has bad breath due to overgrowth of bacteria on the dorsum of the tongue, maybe he has to improve his oral hygiene or there is something to fix in the mouth.” - Poor oral hygiene is sometimes a factor in the origin of chronic halitosis, but once es...

Re: My potential cure after over 30 years

Couple of weeks ago I read something from John L Richter talking about curing bad breath predominantly through tongue scraping and the product they sell. I won't name the product, as I don't want to be accused of selling it. Anyway with nothing to lose I bought the product, it's vile but it works. ...

Re: Has anyone tried this?

No it's NOT a freaking marketing ploy and no one is being asked to buy this. I just searched "Chinese herbal medicine for bad breadth" after reading an article. And it came up this one with a few others. BreathNew™ Has anyone tried this, or even heard about this? Nah, herbal remedies for ...

Re: Dr. Jorgen Slots, USC

Friends, we don't need chlorhexidine, we don't need antibiotics. I don't think we have "bad" bacteria. I think we have an underlying sublicnic cause that is difficult to diagnose. But it is not impossible. Where do you get this “we” nonsense? The only thing we necessarily have in common h...

@ telpar “For intraoral bad breath, the best product seems to be Halitosil Zn, a recipe from Aydin Murat. Unfortunately it is not available outside of Turkey.” The best nonprescription intraoral product I’ve used is Therabreath Maximum Strength. Good results up to several hours. Haven’t tried Smartm...

Re: Dr. Jorgen Slots, USC

@Stevian It was morning breath that started in college, but went away with brushing until I was in my early 30s. During this time some specific things happened that may or may not have contributed to an imbalance. I started Enbrel for arthritis (about a year before this began, although I was simply...
