I think it depends on how effective metronidazole is for you. First time I took metronidazole I was 100% cured, my mouth felt fresh, not a single reaction whatsoever. Even though nobody tends to reply, I want to keep updating this so that I have something to refer back too later down the line, without risk of forgetting info. It's been about 30 hours since I took my last pill. Bad breath has NOT returned yet. Even this mornings 'morning breath' was fairly fresh. ...

p.s - also forgot to mention that my tongue has remained yellowish/coated the whole time.
