Not much to add by way of my experiments/cure search. So far: Tried metroniadazole. Wasn't expecting much but 100% made my breath smell of nothing. Was over-joyed. Stopped using it after a week, and bad breath slowly came back, and I'm now back at square 1. Now: I'm going pro-biotic crazy for a few ...

I'd say my bad breath is now completely back, a week or sa after stopping the metronidazole. I'm sad :( I'm thinking about getting my hands on some more and running another course of it. It's the only thing that's ever worked for me. I'm also gonna try probiotics based on peoples recommendations, bu...

](*,) the only thing that has ever worked for me has been metronidazole. I took 3 tables (400mg) a day for a whole week and I was BB free for about 6 months. But then it obviously came back.... I was looking online and I found an online pharmacy www.bmpharmacy.com the pills and the package everythi...

@jackson due you have post nasal drip? As for me I don't have any post nasal drip and my bb is not room filling but when I open my mouth I know the bb is there because of reactions. I get so jealous when I see people eat bbq crips or they drink sugary stuff and the only smell I smell is just what t...

I used children in this way. I KNOW that my morning breath is horrendous because I can smell it myself. Don't need any tests. Once I've brushed my teeth and done my morning routine, I think I have mildly bad breath. Sometimes I'm not sure, which is where my 5 year old nephew is useful! I'll speak ne...

It's cool that you work in a lab and can do this stuff yourself! Do you have post nasal drip at all? Have you ever tried an antibiotic like metronidazole? (It's given me relief/fresh breath for the first time in a decade, but I'm waiting for bb to return now that i've discontinued the pills). Wonder...

Well, I think that the reversion back to bad breath has already began
Morning breath seemed a little worse this morning, though still not as bad as prior to the antibiotic.
Was really hoping i'd be one of the 'lucky' ones who'd been cured

over 3 days now since stopping medication. Breath still fresh. I was beginning to entertain the idea that I might be an anomaly and possibly cured since most peoples BB comes back almost instantly from reading around whereas mine is still fresh. However, I read earlier about a mother who gave her yo...

I think it depends on how effective metronidazole is for you. First time I took metronidazole I was 100% cured, my mouth felt fresh, not a single reaction whatsoever. Bad taste came back about 1 week after I stopped, along with bb. The second time, 100% cured again, but bb came back in 1 day. The t...

Even though nobody tends to reply, I want to keep updating this so that I have something to refer back too later down the line, without risk of forgetting info. It's been about 30 hours since I took my last pill. Bad breath has NOT returned yet. Even this mornings 'morning breath' was fairly fresh. ...

Took my final pill last night.
Sad times.
When can I expect my awful breath to return? Maybe tonight/tomorrow morning?

p.s - also forgot to mention that my tongue has remained yellowish/coated the whole time.
Neither the metronidazole or the fluconazole had an effect.

acv = apple cider vinegar. I've experienced fresh breath all week for the first time in over a decade and it's bliss. Even my morning breath is OK! This is due to an antibiotic - metronidazole . I'm sad that tomorrow is my last day of the pill, and so likely my last day of fresh breath. I think my c...

Haven't been able to monitor my morning breath properly yet. .............................................. I can confirm that just 1 pill taken yesterday morning leads to fairly fresh morning breath the following morning! Only got a couple of days left now. When that bad breath returns, it's gonna...
