It still seems important to scrape this coating off though? As the bacteria are living beneath it and perhaps feeding on it. My mouth ph is neutral, slightly acidic after eating, but not much. I once spent 3 days measuring it all the time (before/after brushing, before/after eating, when I first got up), it never really changed that much. Weird.
