1) Which feces digestion test is this, specifically?
2) What information would you deduct from the stool pH?

Larc, roughly what kind of BB do you have? Does your tongue get smelly/tonsil stones/coming out of the lungs only, etc My tongue and saliva stink, that's for sure. I thought I had the classic tongue-based anaerobic BB, but it could be a false lead. Maybe the source is elsewhere for some of us, and ...

In the case of TMAU, the odorous compound (TMA) is secreted everywhere, including saliva. So TMAU-patients are advised to use charcoal to neutralize the odour.
I don't have TMAU though (negative urine test a few years ago) but maybe something similar.

Okay guys, when I take three activated charcoal pills (=750mg) at night before bed, I wake up with a better breath. Something happens with my saliva - it's usually very sticky/stinky, but seems cleaner when on the charcoal. So, go to your pharmacist and get some charcoal, and give it a try. Does thi...

I want to buy an OralChroma: http://www.abilit-medical-and-environmental.jp/en/medical/product_01.html ...to better be able to pin-point when the breath is terrible, and when it's not. I think they're about $5,000, so sharing is the only option :| We can then use it for a couple of months each, then...

paranoid92, let me ask you something. When you eat, do you produce gas the other end really quickly that stinks of whatever you ate? It could be that we have colonic type bacteria really high up in the gastro system, so that gas is produced further up than in normal people. Normally it should take a...

How would he explain it? How would the smell reach the surroundin...

My breath is fecal. I hit the bathroom before going anywhere. After going to the bathroom my breath is way better. I use Colonix fiber from Dr. Natura, to make sure that I have to go to the bathroom everyday. I'm 100% sure that my breath is related to my digestive system and poop, so I don't eat th...

'Fecal implants', ie transplanting the flora between patients is a really new concept. Is it even being used in practice, or is it just something the super specialist physicians are experimenting with? It's a great idea regardless. For people with an oral cause of their BB, maybe a transplant of the...

Thanks for answers!
I've not seen any literature regarding Zn --> dry mouth. My only source is a halitosis dentist in Sweden. I suppose one will find out if that's the case
Any suggestions where a normal consumer can get hold of ZnCl2 would be appreciated

ZnCl2 is weak antiseptic (not disinfectant). The zinc molecule extracts suplhur from VSC, turns to ZnS that is insoluble in saliva, thus they precipitate. I successfully.put zncl2 in a rinse: http://cozumilac.com/pharmolzn/indexen.html -Murat P.S. All Zn compounds are for Type 1 halitosis only Hi A...
