Good point TeamZissou, Its a powerful tool that we need to exploit to offer further insights, in a lateral way. For example, like your idea of oxygen gas to gradually shift the floral balance towards more friendlier bacteria. Something with the power of metronidazole could open doors to new understa...

Hi asd, I've been aware of my BB since 15, im now 38. Its always there night and day. I had complaints about it right through childhood, but it never bothered me then. My life revolves around making sure that other people cant smell me, and trying to survive along with help from other family members...

Hi Iris, So many different forms of BB. I knew a guy once who had a similar odour when he used to drink a lot of alcohol. I think it was his liver and chemicals coming out through the lungs. I know what you are going through with your tonsillectomy, its horrible. My ENT told me to start eating thing...

Hi TeamZissou,
I had a tonsillectomy with the advice of my ENT. I had tonsil stones and gunk coming from mine. It made no difference to my BB whatsoever for me.
I think that everything that was going on in my tonsils was no different to what is going on on my tongue.

Hi billie I must have a bad gag reflex compared to most people. Sometimes just holding out my tongue makes me gag. Im hoping that the removal of a widsom tooth next week cures my BB, but in the meantime im creating a cushion for my mental state incase it doesnt by having plenty of new ideas and thin...

Just thinking about it is making me gag. I wonder if using some sort of irrigator and chlorine dioxide (or some other antibacterial) would be effective on the lingual tonsils? Maybe some chronic situation there could be given a chance to heal itself by doing this, from acid reflux for example or PND...

http://www.badbreathfear.com/acidrefluxandbadbreath.php If anyone's BB is caused by acid reflux, the link above shows details of a study in which the use of PPI has been shown to CAUSE BB. I wonder if those people had BB before starting the PPI? Or am i just reading it wrong? Anyway, TeamZissou, we ...

We are just reasoning with some established facts Azishasi to see whether we could make some connections. If there is something unusual happening with lingual tonsils then there is every chance it could be connected to the overgrowth of bacteria there. And if someone is trying to help by dismissing ...

I've just got back from the dentist to see about my wisdom tooth. He asked me if i've ever had any pain from this tooth - just as i was lifting my right arm to punch him in the eye, i realised he must have meant physical pain. I said yes (there's always a dull pain deep in the jaw, and a few times i...

Great, i cant wait to hear how you get on. Start a new thread if it has any positive effect, and if it works 100% then lets get on our rooftops and start yelling! I wonder if a lozenge or some way of holding this stuff in the mouth for longer would have a better chance of doing anything? you could m...

I have read somewhere that these crypts are not very deep or numerous and unlikely to make a lot of difference. We all need to find out as much info on this as possible. Maybe for those who feel like there's something stuck in the throat, it could be these that are inflamed or chronically infected a...

Lots of people with BB (on here too) have tried betaine hydrochloride and i dont think it made much difference. I tried this while trying out different digestive enzymes a few yrs back - made no difference whatsoever. People generally take this when they dont produce enough acid. From what i've rese...
