I can totally sympathize with you in feeling that you are wasting your life away. I'm 23, pretty bright, and decent looking, and yet i've never even attempted to have a girlfriend because it would just be too exhausting to hide the problem, and wouldn't work in the end anyways. It's just incredibly ...

Wisdom teeth and tonsil stones
I was wondering if anyone has any insight into how the wisdom teeth relate to tonsil stones. Is it possible the tonsil stones are the result of the tonsils fighting off an infection around the wisdom teeth? Has anyone had their tonsil stones go away (if they had them) after having their wisdom teeth...

Yeah it seems like the numbers in that WebMD article for a healthy weight are a little high, but it sounds like many here are noticeably skinny. I've lived in the northeast U.S. my entire life, and haven't really traveled to any exotic locations, so I'd be surprised if a parasite was my problem, but...

For the very skinny/underweight
From webmd: "What's so wrong with being too thin when it seems to be a non-problem compared with obesity? The truth is that being underweight has its own risks. Those who are extremely lean tend to have weaker immune systems, making them prone to infections, surgical complications, and slower r...

I strongly believe there is something to this too, but the question is what? I am 6'1'', and weigh anywhere from 140-150lbs. I very rarely get near or over 150, no matter how hard I try. I actually intentionally tried to gain 20 lbs to see if being heavier would translate into being healthier, and b...

Hey Halitosisux, I didn't cure the problem. It may have changed what it smells like a bit, and for the better actually, and it may have reduced it to some degree. It's hard to tell though. I know it isn't gone completely, or even close. It also made the coating on my tongue worse. I wonder if that c...

IgA Deficiency
Has anyone here been tested to see if they are deficient in IgA? There have been a number of threads with good evidence suggesting this as a cause, but I haven't read of many being tested for it. I'm considering getting tested myself, though i'm not sure what good knowing would do, because there rea...

Well I feel a little better that you had a noticably thicker tongue coating well on the metro as well. I was a little concerned that might be a permanent thing. As far as probiotics, I have been eating yogurt and activia throughout the course, but probably not as much as I should have. I'm not sure ...

Snobuni, I don't understand that either. Maybe the pepto is improving your bad breath through a mechanism other than killing off bacteria. Didn't someone who knew a good deal about it say it combined with VSC's to make something with no smell? That would reduce the BB without killing any bacteria. O...

So i'm on day 9 out of 14 of the triple therapy. It has reduced the BB to some degree, but at this point i'm chalking that up to the fact that i'm still currently on the antibiotics. I believe that it will come back to what it was when the medication ends. I don't really have any basis to say that o...

Hey Halitosisux, I'm on day 5 of the treatment so far. I'm taking Clarithromycin 500 mg, Metronidazole 500 mg, and Omeprazole 20 mg, all twice a day. It's somewhat difficult to tell exactly what is happening. I feel that my BB has been reduced to some degree, but I don't have a reliable way to test ...
