Seems like chronic type 1 halitosis is almost invariably caused by infections in root canals, tonsils or wisdom teeth pockets.

Definitely good places to start looking, even if there are no symptoms.

Grunge, does your bad breath manifest in a bad taste in the mouth? Or do you not taste/smell your own breath?

I have pretty bad acid reflux but don't see how it could overpopulate my mouth with bacteria that smells and tastes like dog crap.

No real improvements since my last post. If it is a biofilm, maybe it's a different type that these ingredients don't break down, or in my sinuses where the irrigation hasn't reached.

I may start sinus rinsing with these same ingredients and hopefully some improvement comes from there.

Being able to smell it definitely sounds promising. If it's exposed to air flow then the oxygen and saliva alone might kill the bacteria.

Sounds like you had the exact same symptoms as I have. My PND is really obvious and my sinuses are OK except a tiny bit of congestion. Constant battle to keep my tongue clean and I often jet my tonsils with a waterpik containing chlorhexidine which provides slight relief.
