I don't think we should be hyper-careful though, I gargle acidic juices myself. Just saying that if we do it every day we should try to find a way to protect the teeth

i don't recommend trying this without using juice or yogurt. also it seems like you all are trying to follow the package directions. try to just stick to common sense methods. what the instructions say really makes no logical scientific sense, like your example of the instructions saying to rinse with water after. that's just silly.Snobuni wrote:I agree Thanatos, juice makes my breath HORRIBLE. It could be that the sugar in the juice will feed the K12 good bacteria, but if that was the case why would they then tell you to rinse well with water afterwards? If it's just the acid to kill everything off surely ACV or chlorohexadine would work just as well?
When everybody tried K12 before and it didn't work, was everybody following the juice and yoghurt steps then too, or were they just taking it with water? Could this be why it didn't work out for people previously?
i think i'd like to start using the kefir. i just wonder if it makes you smell funny. i remember someone using the Pro-M probiotics and having a strong smell about them as a result. like hospital or something.thanatos wrote:Kefir yogurt is said to be the most healthy with the most powerful probiotics of any type of yogurt. When I get my powder, I'll try adding a little to each batch of Kefir yogurt I make beforeit curds. Then after I cool it in the fridge, I'll add more.
Kefir is so easy to make. Just get your milk, bring it to a near boil, remove from heat, let cool to just above room temp., add the Kefir starter, mix, let sit covered for 24 hours. No yogurt maker machine required! Refridgerate for 8 hours after that, then you have Kefir yogurt ready to consume.
And why does it have to be fruit juice to use with the Akiv Oxygen serum? It contains sugar! Why not Apple Cider Vinegar?
i've been doing well. i will say that a couple times this week i had bb. but it's not chronic and it's not intense like before. it just had a scent to me when i breathed. i'm premenstrual now and i think that may be why i've had bb a couple times this week.Snobuni wrote:Hi Sweets,
Thanks for keeping us all updated, how long have you been having good results for now?
So you mix the K12 with the juice and don't rinse, then have a probiotic yoghurt straight after? Do you think this works better than rinsing with juice then just having the yoghurt without the K12?
Btw, has anyone every measured the ph of their saliva with litmus strips? If our mouths are more alkaline than acidic, we need to increase acidity(which is why juice works), but if it's more acidic we need to increase alkalinity?
If bad bacteria thrives at 7.2-7.8 and good at 5.9-6.9, does that mean that most of us have a problem with alkaline saliva? Sorry, to go off subject a bit, just trying to get my head round what we can do to improve the environment for good bacteria. I guess that's why vit c tablets work for a while.
